Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 GMC Yukon XL- Video
John: Hey guys. John here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2020 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks TRS two bike platform rack for e-bikes. This is designed to fit a two inch trailer hitch receiver and the one of the features I'd like to start off pointing out is it does have a tilt away feature.To do this you'll pull the safety pin here and there's a quick release pin you will also need to pull which allows us to tilt the bike rack away. I would like to point out that the bike rack sits close enough to the Yukon that with a standard bike size like this, it'll clear the pedal when you have the pedal down, but it will come in contact with the handle.You might be able to fit a smaller bike on here and be able to open up the rear hatch without making any contact, but it's really going to depend on the size of your bike.Go ahead and lift the bike back into the towing position. You'll notice here our bike is secured at three points of contact, two ratchet straps on the wheels and then one ratchet strap up here on the tire.To remove the bike, we'll start off by releasing the ratchet straps on the wheels and then we'll press this lever in to release the tension on the ratcheting arm. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 GMC Yukon XL- Video
John: Hey guys. John here from etrailer.com and today on our 2020 GMC Yukon XL we're going to take a look at the Thule Camber bike rack. This is designed for one and a quarter inch and two inch hitches and it's a great way to carry four bikes on the back of your Yukon. This not only frees up room inside your Yukon to fit more cargo or passengers, but it means you're not going to be cramming the bikes into the back of your vehicle.So take a closer look here, you can see our bike is secured at three different points. Two ratchet straps on top, and then one here with the anti sway cradle. The anti sway cradle is designed to help limit the movement of your bike while you're heading down the road so that your bikes won't come in contact with each other or the vehicle.To remove the bike, simply press here and loosen up the ratchet strap to remove it and we'll kind of walk our bike back. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 GMC Yukon XL- Video

This is designed for 2" by 2" trailer hitch receivers and it comes in a gunmetal gray finish here. It's part number NV22G, as well as a black finish, it's part number NV22B.This is a great way to transport your bikes to your favorite destination without having to load them on top of your vehicle or into the cargo area. John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com, and today on our 2020 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Destination Platform Rack. This is designed for two inch by two inch trailer hitches and it'll hold up to four bikes, weighing 35 pounds each. This is a great option for getting up to four bikes to your destination without having to toss them up on top of your Yukon XL, or trying to fit them into the rear cargo area.Our bike here is going to be secured at three locations. There's a ratcheting strap on the rear wheel, on the middle post frame and the front wheel. To remove our bike, we'll simply press the lever here, to remove the ratcheting strap. I recommend removing the straps for the wheels first, that way you can use one hand to remove the strap for the middle rack. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Colin: Hey, everyone. It's Colin here at etrailer, and today we have a 2019 GMC Yukon XL and we've been test-fitting some hitch-mounted accessories on it. Right now we have the Thule Hitching Post Pro loaded up.Now, this is a four-bike hanging style rack, so you can be able to get four bikes loaded up on the back of your Yukon and conserve on space on top of your roof or inside your vehicle so you don't really have to worry about cramming stuff in your car or on top of your roof to be able to get to your destination. Now with the hanging style rack, you can see we've got a mountain bike on here right now. It's holding it very well. We've got three different spots where each bike is held in. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Today on our 2007 GMC Yukon XL we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex Hanging Style Four-Bike Rack, Part No. TH9029XT. As you can see, we've already got a bike up here in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled, the cradle arms out, and a bike in place on your vehicle. Let's start off by getting our shortest distance measurements here. Our closest distance is going to be about 3-3/4 inches to the front side here. Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle from the back side of the bumper to the back of the cradle arms at about 38 inches, and our ground clearance is going to be about 20 inches. All right, let's talk about how the bike is secured to our rack. We're going to have two straps coming over the top, as well as one around the side. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 GMC Yukon XL TH9031XT- Video
Today on our 2007 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be doing a test if of the Thule Vertex Swing Hanging-Style Four-Bike Rack with the Swing-Away Option, part number TH9031XT. It does come with a two-inch shank for your two-inch receivers only. We'll start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest measurement is going to be from the T handle on the front side here to the back side of the bumper, about six and a half inches. Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle, from the rear of the bumper, to the back side of the cradle arms, is going to be about 39 inches. Our ground clearance from the bottom side of the platform will be about 19 and a half inches. Now, moving up to the front, we'll talk about that swing-out option. more

Today on our 2007 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be doing a test fit of part number N105-107, the Kuat NV platform-style four-bike rack. As you can see, we've already got a bike up here in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully-assembled and a bike on it, on the back of your vehicle. It is going to be for those vehicles with two-inch receivers, with its two-inch shank here. Now let's start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be our first measurement, and from the back side of the bumper to the front side of the rack, at about 8 and three-quarter inches. Our overall distance that we've added to the vehicle with this rack on the back side from our bumper will be about 48 and three-quarter inches. more

Thule EasyFold Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Today on our 2015 GMC Yukon XL, we will be doing a test fit of the Thule Easy Fold 2. This is going to be your platform-style, 2-bike rack, specifically designed for your e-bikes. It has 132 pound weight capacity, capable of carrying a 66 pound bike on each side with ease. It has a sturdy construction. This will be part number TH9032. As you can see, we've already got it up here with a road bike on it, and installed on the vehicle so you can see how it looks and fits. We're going to give a few measurements first, and then we're going to go through the break down process, because it would be the same, just inverted, to put it on. Our first measurement's going to be our closest distance first, which in this case is going to be up here where you have all your mounting brackets and everything else. more

It does come for your inch-and-a-quarter as well as your two-inch hitches. Just keep in mind when you're hauling anything with your inch-and-a-quarter that you can only carry a maximum of two bikes, and that's going to be on your Class I hitches. Class II you'll be okay. As you can see we've already got it up here installed on our vehicle and in place and we're going to show you how to take it down and pull it apart. Kuat NV Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL we'll be test fitting the Kuat aluminum hitch mounted two bike rack with wheel mount cradles. This is a Kuat NV, part number N101. To begin our test fit we'll slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin holes and slide the hitch pin in. We'll then move to the back of the shank and tighten the anti-rattle knob, securing the bike rack to the vehicle. With that done we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack measures 23 inches. more
