Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Kuat NV 2.0. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2023 Ford Expedition. Now the first thing when carrying around bikes with your Ford Expedition is that the hitch is pretty high up, which also means that you are gonna be lifting your bikes pretty high up to get onto the bike rack. So with a Kuat NV, I would actually recommend taking a look at the sold separately add-on, which is the access ramp, and that is something you can add to this bike rack that way instead of lifting the bikes up and onto the rack, you can then just ramp them up. This does have a 60 pound weight capacity for those heavier bikes. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Rack Destination Four. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2023 Ford Expedition. The main thing with the Expedition is when you do wanna carry around bikes, the hitch sits pretty high up so you are gonna have to lifting your bikes up pretty high in order to get them onto the rack. Another thing is that a Destination Four is one of my favorite entry level compact racks and that allow you to carry up to four bikes without taking up a lot of space. So seeing how this fits on the Expedition, some of the things we will be taking a look at is how much accessibility do we have in the car One example is that this bike rack does not tilt away so if you wanted to open up your hatch you would have to take your bikes off. Another thing is that this does have a weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike. more

So if you have extra heavy electric bikes and you're looking for a bike rack that not only has that extra weight capacity to carry them, but you also wanna make it easier on yourself, because the Ford Expedition has a hitch that's really high up. So that also means you have to lift those heavy electric bikes high up to get onto their bike rack. Well, our Destination E has a ramp included, although not attached, and this ramp will make it a lot easier to get those bikes on and back off the rack. more

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Rocky Mounts Backstage Two Bike Platform Rack on our 2020 Ford Expedition. Now, right away you're getting some great features with this guy. The big one to stand out, as you see, we do have an E-Bike out here today, and with 60 lbs capacity, per bike, you're able to get most of those big bikes on here. Now, keep in mind, with those E-Bikes you do want to make sure you're removing those batteries, that's going to take the weight off of your bike, off of your rack, and make for a nice and smooth ride for yourself. As well as preventing any damage to your bike or your rack. Another great feature with this as well, is we are going to be able to fit some of those fat tire bikes on here. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Expedition, we are doing a test fit of the Inno tire hold 3 bike rack, platform style, part number NIH305-306. Now we have a bike on our rack and a bike hooked to our vehicle. I'm going to show you a few features. Now the first feature I'm going to show you while the bike is on the rack, we have a tilt to feature. I'm going to grab hold to our bike rack, this lever here, pull it down and just bring it down like so. Now we should be able to get inside our hatch, but on this particular bike, it does touch at the handle bars, so if you have something smaller that you need to get in somehow at the back of the hatch, they can possible be there, but other than that, it will touch so you just want to keep that in mind. Close it back up and we will bring this back up. more

Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold bike rack. This is going to be your platform-style 3-bike rack, part number INH305-306. As you can see, we've already got a bike up here on the platform and in place so you can see what it would look like once you have it fully assembled and your bike on it. Let's start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be first from the front of the plate here to the backside of the bumper at about 3-7/8". Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle from the rear of the bumper to the back of the platform is going to be about 39-1/2". Our rear ground clearance at about 22-3/4". more

Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Saris Thelma pane style, or excuse me, platform style three bike rack, part number SA4239-B. As you can see we've already got a bike up here on the platform in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it assembled and on the back of your vehicle. Now do keep in mind that this rack does come with your inch and a quarter shank, but it's only advisable that if you carry it with your one class one hitch that you're only carrying two bikes. You can put two bikes on your class two receivers, and then it also comes with that two inch adapter for your class three hitches. Let's start off by getting a few measurements first. Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition we're going to be doing a test fit of the Saris Freedom SuperClamp. This is going to be your platform style two bike rack, part number SA4025. As you can see, we've already got a bike up here and place so you can see what it's going to be like once you have it fully assembled in place on the back of your vehicle. Let's start off by getting a few measurements. Our closes distance is going to be to here to the shank where it bends going into our receiver at about 7 inches. Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle with the bike rack in place from the back of the bumper to the back of the cradles is going to be about 24 inches with the rear ground clearance being about 24 and three-quarter inches. Now let's talk about how the bike is placed on the rack and secured. You're going to have your two SuperClamps as well as your rear strap for your rear wheel. more

Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Highland Sport Wing Hanging Style 4 Bike Rack. This bike rack is going to be part number 1370400. As you can see, we already have our bike up here in place, so you can see what it would like once you have everything assembled and your bike on the rack. Note that it does come with a 2 inch shank for your 2 inch receivers only and a hitch pin and clip. All right let's get a few measurements to start it off.
