It's gonna be a good platform style bike rack, which means it's gonna hold the bike by the tire, which opens up to hold most different types of bikes. We have a carbon fiber one right on here right now. If it was a center mast one, then the hook that came down and touched the frame, we wouldn't be putting this on there, because we don't wanna damage this frame at all. It could easily be dented or scratched. more

So if you're looking for a bike rack that has a lot of different options and can fit a whole lot of different bikes, you found it. So we have Matte black, we can also get gunmetal gray or metallic black, depending on the look you're going for but this is gonna be great for our carbon fibre bikes. As we don't have any frame contact, it's gonna be good for our bikes under 60 pounds as it has a 60 pound rating. So electric bikes under that'd be good. more

We're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Hitching Post Pro for Bike Rack.Now this is a hanging style bike rack that's going to allow you to transport four bikes to and from your destination. We're going to have two really thick rubber straps on the top tube right here, those rubber straps are going to make sure they protect your bike from any type of scratches or abrasions. This is a hanging style rack that allows you to transport up to four bikes to and from your destination.With the hanging style, it's going to hold your bike and support it by the top two right here, as well as having three different points of contact. Two of those points are going to be these straps, which come around the top two and secure them into the cradles. Hey, guys. Today, we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, and we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Helium Pro 3-Bike hanging style rack. Now, this bike rack's pretty special in its own way. It is very easy to handle, comes in at about 20 pounds, but it's still able to carry three bikes. You don't see that too often, especially when you get into those platform racks, and they just get to be 60, 70, 80 pounds, and they just get a little too hard to handle when you want to put it in your hitch, or pull it out and store it. So this one's going to be very easy to handle, and still give you that capacity for carrying bikes.You can carry up to three bikes to and from the trails. more

Hey guys. Today we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Helium Pro two bike hanging style rack on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. This bike rack does have a pretty unique feature about it in that, one, it's going to be able to carry two bikes to and from the trails, but it's going to be very easy to handle. It only comes in at just under 20 pounds, so it's going to be very easy to install on your hitch, it's going to be very easy to remove, and even the components around it are going to be very light weight. So you're not going to have too many issues when it comes to lifting it or anything like that. When you get to those platform racks, even the two bike platform racks can come in at 40 to 50 pounds, but this kind of takes that hassle away.It comes with this nice cam buckle strap that's going to allow you to secure your bikes in another way. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Hey guys, today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and we're going to do a test of the Inno vertical hang 4 bike hanging style rack. Now, this rack has a unique way of holding your bikes that hasn't really been seen too much from hanging style racks. Now normally, with that style rack, you're going to have 2 posts that are parallel to the ground like so and they'll hold your bike by the top tube.Now, this one's going to have 2 vertical posts that are perpendicular to the ground. And basically, how it's going to hold your bike is the top coil's going to kind of wedge up at the junction of the top tube and the down tube right here. It's going to wedge itself up there, then we have a strap securing it on to the cradle. And then, down here, we're going to have the support cradle that's at the midway point of our down tube. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman E-Bike Two Bike Platform Rack. It's going to be part number S64689. As you can see, we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features. Something unique about this bike rack, like I said in the name, it's designed to be able to carry up to two E-Bikes weighing up to 70 pounds each, so it's a lot more durable for your heavier bikes.If we come in closer, starting from the outside and going in, we have a cradle for the front, and the rear tires. These cradles do not pivot back and forth, they're stationary in that aspect, but if you loosen this knob right here, you can slide it back and forth to accommodate any type of length that your bike might have and then you simply tighten it back up, and it's ready to go. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Inno Aero Light 4 bike rack, and it's going to be part number INH640. As you can see, we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features. Starting from the outside and working our way in, we have an integrated cable locking system that reaches out from the base of the rack and stretches over your bikes and can simply be inserted into the lock in order to prevent any type of theft from occurring on your bike. Your bike rack is going to come with a set of keys for when your cable lock is in use. You simply slide this tab up, you can turn the key in there, and it will release the cable lock in order to help you unload your bikes.At a closer look at these cradles, you can see they pivot from side to side to accommodate any size frame you might have, and they shift back and forth in order to help you with the spacing of your bikes when you have it fully loaded. If we look over here, we have three different points of contact on our bike securing it to our bike rack. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be testing the Yakima Ridgeback 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches, part number Y02458. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a look here. Starting with the ends of our arms here, we do have the patented Yakima bottle openers. Moving onto the cradles, they are going to be stationary, meaning they can't move back and forth, but they do have this cushioned TPE cushion. That's going to help absorb the shock and help protect the frame of your bike while traveling. The bottoms, or I should say the tops, of our zip strips are also padded to provide that extra protection as well. more

Speaker 1: Today on 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, we're gonna be test fitting the Saris Glide EX4 bike rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches, part number SA774. We already have a bike installed on the rack. So let's go ahead and take a look at some of the features here. Now the most prominent feature about this bike rack is how it can tilt away. When you have a hanging style bike rack, if you want to get rear hatch access, normally, you have to remove all the bikes and tilt it away and that's how you get to it or you can purchase a swing out version where you would swing the bike rack out completely with all four bikes attached to get rear hatch access and that can be a little bit of a hassle. But with this, you're able to tilt it or glide it away with all four bikes attached with no problems. more

We're going to come here to the back, move our wheel hook out of the way, and we're able to push down on our pedal here. That's going to allow us to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle with our bikes fully loaded. In this position, you'll see we're going to have clearance for our hatch to completely open so that we can get anything in or out of our back hatch that we may need without having to remove our bikes or our bike rack. With that closed up, we can lift straight up on our bike rack until that locks into place.Now, how our bike is secured down. Here at the back, we're going to have a cam-buckle strap. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hanger 4 bike rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number MPG2124. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack, there's going to be two points of contact. We're going to have a strap up around the top portion of our frame and off to the side here. That's going to be more of an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and making bike to bike contact. The cradles are adjustable back and forth and side to side. more

Today, on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima SwingDaddy 4 bike rack for 2 inch hitches. Part number Y02464. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look, and show off some of the features. The best feature about this bike rack is the fact that it can swing out away from the vehicle so you can gain hatch access without having to remove your bikes. To do that, loosen up this knob here in the back. While it doesn't make contact with the bumper itself, just be careful as you undo this. There we go. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we are going to be test fitting the Thule vertex swing for bike rack, for two inch hitches. Part number TH9031XT. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The most prominent feature of this bike rack is of course, the fact that it can swing away from the vehicle so you don't have to remove the bikes to get to your rear hatch. To do that, we'll loosen this turn knob here at the back all the way, then we'll lift up on this T handle, oh, excuse me, we'll lift upon this T handle first and remove it. Lift up on this one, as well and start to swing it out. When we get to this point here, you want to turn the main mast portion towards this point here, lift up on the T handle, and lock it into place. more

The most important feature about this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached. To do that, we have this latch here, which is a little bit easier to get to, pull it towards us holding on to the bike rack and letting it come down. Now with it tilted away, we have full access to the rear hatch to get whatever we need with plenty of space on either side to do so. more

That's going to ensure that your bike doesn't get scratched up once you get it installed. We also have these wheel wells here at the base, if you loosen up these knobs, they do adjust along the length of the bike rack. So they fit in things a little easier, but also to accommodate different sized bikes. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Thule T2 Pro 2 Bike Platform Rack for number TH9034. We already have the bike installed on the rack. Let's go and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now the first and most important feature of this rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached. To do that, there's this great handle up at the front. You pull towards you and let it come down, which is a little bit more convenient than other racks that usually have the latches up towards the front. It can make it a little awkward to lower them out of the way. Let's go ahead and do that. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today, on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be test fitting the Kat NV 2.0, 2 bike rack, part number NV22G. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The most important feature of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away with the bike still attached. To do that we'll grab hold of the bike, pull this level on the passenger side out, let it tilt down. At this point, we can go ahead and lift our rear hatch and, as you can see, we're able to get to the hatch to get whatever we need with plenty of space on either side. Now, we measured our handlebars and from the center to this point here is going to be about 9 inches so, you can see, we have plenty of space between this and the hatch so I don't think you'll have any problems with clearance with other handlebars. Now, to lift it back into its original position just grab it by the bike rack, push up, and there you go. Also, at the end here we have a station that you can use to make repairs to your bike while your on the trail if you need to. more

Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Holdup 2 bike rack for 2 inch hitches, part number Y2443. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show of some of the features. Now the most prominent feature of this rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached. To do that, while holding on to the bike rack, we'll pull out on this red handle here and let it tilt forward. Now we have access to our rear hatch. However, as you can see here, it would actually make contact with our bike, so we can't have it fully open, but we have it partially open to get some of the items that we may need. more

Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse we'll be doing a test fit on the Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Rack, part number TS03G. It's also available in a 2 bike rack, part number TS02G. As you can see it's a platform style bike. I've already got it loaded up just to give you a good idea of what it looks like on our Traverse and to see how it secures our bikes. It actually secures our bikes in 2 spots. We have this large wheel hook going over our front wheel putting down pressure into our front wheel cradle, and then we have a rear wheel strap going over our rear wheel and going into the ratcheting mechanism there. more

So I've already got it loaded up on the Traverse just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to work with our Traverse. So it actually secures our bikes in two spots. We have a wheel hook going over our front wheel, putting down pressure into our front wheel cradle. In the rear here, we have a rear wheel strap going over our wheel and then ratcheting down into this mechanism here. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the RockyMounts split rail platform style two bike rack. That's part number RKY1140. I've already got it loaded up on the Traverse, just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it secures our two bikes. It actually secures our bikes in two spots, we have this large wheel hook going over our front wheel, putting down pressure into our front wheel cradle here. For the rear, we have a strap that goes over our wheel, keeping that from popping out of place. All in all, there is no frame contact with this bike rack, that's a really nice feature. One of the other great features, though, is that it has the ability to tilt away from the vehicle, so we can gain access to our rear hatch. We can actually tilt it away with the bikes loaded, there's a handle underneath here, just pull it towards you, and then we can tilt it out. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be doing a test fit on the Swagman XC 2-Bike Platform Style Rack, part number S64650. On this bike rack the way that it's held in place is it's got 2 wheel cradles down at the bottom, and then up here on top it's got a hook that comes over the frame and keeps it tight down into those cradles. What we're going to do now is go ahead and take this bike off here. In order to do that, we just need to move these hooks up on the mast and in order to do that you just want to push in on the little gray tabs on the side. Push it up and once you've done that you can lift your bike up and out of the way. I'm going to go ahead and move these back down a little bit. Now in order to gain access to your cargo area when the bikes are off what you can do is you can pull this pin down here at the bottom and you can tilt your mast to either side for storage. Then you can replace that pin to keep it tight. more

Swagman XTC4 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Swagman XTC4 4-bike Platform Style Rack, part number S64665. On this bike rack, the bike is secured down in 3 locations. It's got 1 hook over the frame up top here that keeps it tight into these wheel cradles, and then down on the wheel cradles, it's got a strap that'll go around each wheel. We're going to go ahead and take this bike off. Going to do that. We'll start by taking the straps and releasing those, and then we want to squeeze the tabs on the hook in order to move them up so that we can take our bike out. Then, once we've set our bike off to the side, we can take a couple of measurements to see what kind of distances we have. The first measurement is we're going to see how much total distance we're adding to the vehicle, so looks like about 38-1/4 inches. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're doing a test fit of the Swagman Dispatch II Platform-Style Bike Rack. That part number is S64684. Now we already have our bike secured down. First, we're going to show you how we secure it in place. At the front and back tire, we have a ratchet strap with a bushing in between the strap and the bike, just to protect that from any scratches or abrasions that may happen. We're just going to push the button and release those. more
