Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Acura MDX- Video
Today on our 2012 Acura MDX, we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex Swinging 4 Bike Rack, part number TH9031XT. This is for 2 inch hitches only. You see that we have a bike on the bike rack and hitched to a vehicle. First, we'd like to show you the swing away feature. By coming back to the back of it, we have a bike handle here. You want to loosen that. There we go. We have a T pin here. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Acura MDX TH9029XT- Video
Today on our 2012 Acura MDX we will be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex 4 bike rack, part number TH9029XT. You see that we already have the bike on the bike rack and on our vehicle. Lets show you a few features, the way the bike is hold up, we have three straps, we have two on the top and one on the side. Now how will we do this We will go backwards, taking the top off first and anti sway strap on the side, sorry about that. Now when you are loading it up you would do the opposite way. You want to always remember to replace your straps so they don't get damaged or lost, so lets do that. All right now I like to take a few measurements. The first measurement I like to take will be from the bumper closer to our bike racks and I'm looking at approximately 4 inches over all, I'm looking at approximately 38 inches. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Acura MDX TH912XTR- Video
Today on our 2012 Acura MDX we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack, part number TH912XTR. It is equipped for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. We already have the bike on the racks and onto our vehicle. Let's show you a few features. How the bike is mounted on, we have the three straps, two on top and a strap to the side, which is the anti-sway strap. How we do it is pull off the top ones first, and then on to the side strap. When you're loading the bike, you just do it in the reverse way. more

Alright, today, on a 2012 Acura MDX, were going to do a test of the part number TH9029, the Vertex bicycle rack. Two things to know about this bike rack, that it will work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches, both class one and class two, however when you use this with a class one receiver hitch, you are limited to carrying just two bicycles. It will also work with two inch receiver hitches which include a spacer, thats what we will be working with today. To start our test of it, well go ahead and put the bicycle rack into the hitch. Then well install the anti-rattle bolt. And then well go ahead and get a few clearance measurements. more

Today, on this 2012 Acura MDX, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH934XTR from Thule. This is the Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack. Few things to know about this bike rack, that it will work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches, both Class I and Class II. This will also work with two-inch receiver hitches with included spacer, and that's what we'll be working with today. To start off our test fit, we'll install the bike rack into the hitch and then tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. Then we'll go ahead and get a few clearance measurements. more

Today, on this 2012 Acura MDX, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH990XT from Thule, their Double Track Platform Bike Rack. A couple of things to know about this bike rack is that this will work with inch-to-quarter receiver hitches, both Class I and Class II. This will also work with the two-inch receiver hitch with included spacer, and that's we'll be using today. We'll start off our test fit by installing our bike rack into the hitch. We'll tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and install the lock on the other side. Right now, we'll go ahead and unfold the bike rack and get some clearance measurements. more

Today, on this 2012 Acura MDX, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH9025 from Thule, the Apex Bicycle Carrier. A few things to know about this bicycle rack, that it can work with inch-and-a-quarter receiver hitches, both Class I and Class II. However, when you use this with a Class I receiver hitch, you're limited to carrying just two bicycles. This will also work with two-inch receiver hitch with the included spacer, and that's what will be working with today. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch. We'll make sure that the integrated hitch pin snaps into the hitch pin hole on the hitch. more

SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Acura MDX- Video
Today on this 2012 Acura MDX, we're going to do a test fit of part number a30901 from SportRack. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch. Then, we'll install the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. Then, we'll go ahead and unfold the bike rack and get some clearance measurements. From bike rack to the bumper, its closest point will be 9 1/2 inches. Ground clearance will be about 19 1/2 inches at the back, and overall length from the bumper will be about 26 inches. more

A few things to know about this bike rack is that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches, both class 1 and class 2. This will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. Well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, then were going to install the hitch pin and clip. Next, well go ahead and unfold the bike rack and get a few clearance measurements. Clearance from the bumper to the bike rack would be about 9 inches. more
