Today on our 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test fit of the MaxxTow 48x21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. Now this has a five hundred pound weight capacity and works with two inch hitches only. While it's on our vehicle we're going to start off by taking a few measurements here. We're going to have our ground clearance first, it's going to be about eleven and three quarter inches. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about twenty eight and three quarter inches, and our closest point is going to sit about seven inches away. more

Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Rogue, we're doing a test-fit of the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier. That part number is M2205. This is designed to work with 2 inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. So the first thing I'm going to do here is take a few measurements, ground clearance being first. WE're going to have about 16 and 3/4 inches. Overall to our vehicle, we are adding about 32 1/4 inches and our closest point that would make contact to our vehicle first is going to be about 4 1/4 inches. On our Rogue, we do have a single driver's side exhaust. It comes straight out and towards the ground, just under there, so we don't have to worry about carrying heat-sensitive materials in a specific spot on our carrier. Now unfortunately, in this position, we won't be able to access our hatch, but if we come to each corner and remove our pins, we can lay each of these sides down, just like so. more

Today on this 2016 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test-fitting the 20 by 60 Curt cargo carrier, part number C18151. This has a 500 pound carrying capacity, has a nice mesh floor here which makes it easier to clean and it also has this rail all the way around the cargo carrier, which you can use as a tie down point for bungee cords or straps that you can find on etrailer.com. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. The first is going to be how far the cargo carrier actually sticks out from the truck once it's installed. Go ahead and measure from the bumper, and to this point here, that's about 34 and a half inches. Next I'll go ahead and give you the ground clearance, which will be from this point here. That's about 14 and a half inches. Our closest point to the bumper, which is going to be this point here, it's going to be about 13 and a half inches. The exhaust on this truck actually is on the passenger's side here, and it's actually off to the side, so you don't have to worry about anything like heat sensitive materials being placed inside your cargo carrier. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Murano we're test fitting the Stromberg-Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. Now they designed this cargo carrier for use with 2" hitches, and it has a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is CC-100. Cargo carrier has a few really nice things going for it. The first thing I noticed is how large the openings are in our expanded steel. That's going to give us lots of room for that dirt and debris to fall down and through rather than just sitting up here and building up on top of the carrier. I also like the compactness of the raised rail. more

Today on our 2001 Nissan Xterra we've got out the Maxxtow Aluminum Cargo Carrier. We're going to test fit it and see what kind of spacing we have here with our vehicle. This is a aluminum slatted cargo carrier. We've got the big wide areas for dirt and debris to fall through and then our slats there to keep our load supported. Today on our 2001 Nissan Xterra, we've got the Curt 20 by 60 folding cargo carrier and we're going to do a test fit on it. Now this cargo carrier has a nice kind of an expanded steel tight floor. It's got a medium hole size so you're going to get good support for smaller items but also room for dirt and debris to fall down and through. You can see the raised rail all the way around the outside it's about 5 1/2 inches tall. It's going to give us a good support for our gear that we've got loaded up and also you can see some good connection points for tie down straps. We've got a couple of reflectors on the sides and on the back. more

SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Rogue Select- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue Select, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista Cargo Carrier. Now this cargo carrier is going to be 20 inches wide by 60 inches long offering that expanded metal base for easy cleanability and sturdy steel construction for our 500 pound weight capacity. It's also going to have the folding shank so it tucks up against at the back of the vehicle when you don't have it in use, and it also has a 2 inch shank to attach to our receiver using a 3 1/4 inch anti rattle bolt. Now let's go ahead and start of by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be our first measurement from the back side of the bumper to the front side of the bracket here at about 10 1/2 inches. Overall distance that we've added to the back of the vehicle is going to be from the rear of the bumper to the back of the rack at about 38 inches, and our ground clearance at about 15 3/4 inches. Now note that if you're going to be carrying anything that's going to be heat sensitive or perishable that the exhaust on this vehicle does exit straight back on the driver side at about 24 inches. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue Select, we are going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Arrow gear cage. Now this Let's Go Arrow gear cage is going to have a two inch shank attaching to our two inch receiver using a seven eighths inch anti rattle bolt. It's going to be 32 inches wide by 48 inches long and have a 300 pound weight capacity on this sturdy steel construction. It's also going to have that flat base so you don't have to worry about anything falling through, and it's easy to secure anything you need to. Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2007 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2007 Nissan Murano, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage. This gear cage is going to be 32 inches wide by 48 inches long and it's going to be for your 2 inch receiver tubes only. Part number is going to be HCR222. Let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be from the rear of the bumper to the from side of the cargo carrier here at about four and three-quarter inches. Overall this is so we've added to the back of the vehicle from the rear of the bumper to the back side of the cargo carrier, it's going to be about 39 inches. Our ground clearance, from the bottom side of the shank, it's going to be about eleven and three-quarter inches to this point here. Now let's go ahead and check our exhaust clearance here, from the back end of the exhaust tips to the front side of the cargo carrier. more
