Now, the good thing about the cargo carrier itself, as you see, is it has the mesh bottom, so it's going to pretty much keep all of your dirt and debris out. Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we've got the MaxxTow Aluminum Cargo Carrier. We're doing a test fit on it to see exactly how it fits behind the vehicle here. The 500 pound weight capacity is going to come from this main steel shank that runs all the way through. Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we've gotten out the Let's Go Arrow Gear Cage and we're testing it to see how it shapes up against the back of the vehicle. This cargo carrier it's going to measure 32 inches by 48 inches. It's been designed for use with 2 inch hitches, offers a 300 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is gonna be HCR222. You see this carrier has a solid floor. That's something we don't see in a lot of carriers. I think it's nice if you're going to be transporting smaller things or things that you don't want maybe to fall through one of those openings and get scratched and stuff like that. It's got a raised edge all the way around the outside. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Kia Sorento C18150- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're doing a test fit on the Curt 20 by 60 cargo carrier. This is designed for use on two inch hitches, has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. Part number on it is CI8150. As you can see, we've got what I call a medium size expanded steel floor there, plenty of room for dirt and debris to fall down and through while also giving us a lot of support to keep all of our items secure while we're heading down the road. Also helping in that is going to be the raised rail, that goes all the way round the outside here. This is going to be about five and a half inches off of our platform, good front to back and side to side stability. Also, it's going to give us a lot of good connection points around here, so once our gear is on the carrier we'll be able to get it strapped down. On the back side of the carrier we've got about 13 and three quarters of an inch worth of ground clearance. more

Today on our 2016 Kia Sedona we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Arrow Gear Cage, that part number is HCR222. The dimensions are 32x48, and it has a 300 pound weight capacity. We've already got it on our vehicle. We're first going to take a few measurements, and then we'll go over some features. Our ground clearance down here to the bottom of this bolt is going to be about 8 1/4 inches. Overall, to the Kia we're adding about 39 1/2 inches. Our closest point here is going to be the back of this railing, at about 5 inches away there. With this specific vehicle, we do a single passenger side exhaust, it comes straight down at the ground, so you shouldn't have any problems with any heat sensitive material, since it does head straight down there. more

Our ground clearance first is going to be about 10 1/4 inches there, overall the vehicle we're adding about 31 3/4 inches and our closest point is going to be about 10 3/4 inches. Now with our Sedona, we do have a single passenger side exhaust. It's right here on the side and it comes straight down towards the ground, so you really shouldn't worry about carrying any heat sensitive materials on our carrier, since it does come directly to the ground. Next, we will check our break over point for our hatch. more

SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Kia Sedona- Video
Today on our 2012 Kia Sedona, we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista Cargo Carrier. Now the SportRack Vista Cargo Carrier is going to have a 20-inch wide by 60-inch long base with that nice expanded metal for easy cleanability and a sturdy steel construction for a 500-pound weight capacity. It's also going to have that nice folding shank for stowing it up against the back of the vehicle when you don't have it in use. It's also going to have that 2-inch shank to attach to our 2-inch receiver using a 3/4-inch anti-rattle bolt. We'll go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest measurement will be our first one here from the back side of the bumper to the front side of the bracket at about 9-1/2 inches. Overall distance from the rear of the bumper to the back side of the rack is going to be about 38-1/4 inches with a rear ground clearance being about 16-1/2 inches. more

Now we'll line our pin holes up, all right that looks pretty good and we'll take our included anti rattle bolt and clip, go ahead and thread those through. All right once we get that hand tightened, we'll go ahead and finish that the rest of the way down with our wrench and by tightening this, it's going to help reduce the play and the rattle within our hitch and our carrier. Today on our 2009 Kia Sedona we're going to be test fitting the Curt 24 x 60 Folding Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches, part number C18145. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the carrier into the hitch on our vehicle. You'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. Once those are in line we'll take our pin and clip. We're using part number PC3 today as this carrier doesn't come with one. You'll slide it through the holes and attach the clip to the other side. The closest part of the carrier to the vehicle is going to be the rail to the bumper. That's going to measure about 6 inches from the outer most point of the bumper to the carrier. more

Today on our 2009 Kia Sedona, were going to be test fitting the Surco 24x60 Cargo Carrier for two-inch hitches part number 52018. Well begin our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our vehicle. Youll want to watch for the hitch pinholes to line up. With those in line, well take our pin and clip. Were using part number PC3 today and slide it through the hitch pinholes. You may have to wiggle your carrier around a little bit to get everything to slide through. Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2009 Kia Sedona- Video
Today on our 2009 Kia Sedona, we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series Solo, 31x47 cargo carrier for 2 inch hitches, part number PS1040100. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the carrier into the hitch on our vehicle. The measurements and the weight of this carrier make it a little awkward to handle. I've found it's easiest to get it resting in the hitch, you'll then move around to the back and you're going to pick up and push in at the same time. Once you have it started, you want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. With those in line, we'll take our pin and clip. We're going to be using part number PC3 today. We'll slide it through the holes. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2009 Kia Sedona- Video
Today on our 2009 Kia Sedona, we are going to be test fitting the Maxxtow 20x47 Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches part number MT70108. We'll start our test fit by inserting the shank of the carrier into the hitch in our vehicle. This is an aluminum carrier, it's nice and light which makes it easy to work with. We want to watch for our hitch pin holes to line up. Once those are inline, we'll take our pin and clip, today we are using part number PC3. We'll slide it through the holes and attach the clip to the other side. more

Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2009 Kia Sedona- Video
Today on our 2009 Kia Sedona, we're going to be test fitting the Curt 17x46 cargo carrier for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches, part number C18145. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our vehicle. You'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. With those in line, we'll take the threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. We'll get this hand tight and then we can tighten it down with a wrench. Try to find a good way to get in there so you have the room to do it. Tightening this down is going to help to take any extra play out of the shank of the carrier, which helps to eliminate movement overall as you're going down the road. more

Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento we're going to be test fitting the Detail K2 folding-style hitch cargo carrier. It measures 20 by 60. It's designed for use with 2" hitches and it offers a 500 pound weight capacity. Its part number is K2HCC602. Now to begin the test fit we're going to slide the shank of our carrier right into the receiver tube of our hitch. Slide it in far enough so we line the pinhole up with our hitch pinhole. We're then going to slide through our standard 5/8 pin and secure it on the other side here with the clip. more
