As you can see, it's a sizable carrier, plenty of anchor points to tie down, and we've got a mesh floor, so all the dirt and debris is going to fall right through. Lets go ahead and start off with a few measurements. With our ground clearance back here, we're looking at about 9 1/2 inches. For our closest point from our Tucson's bumper to the point of the cargo carrier, we're looking at about 4 1/4 inches. more

Today on our 2012 Hyundai Veracruz, we're testing the 20 by 60 curt folding cargo carrier. This has a capacity of 500 pounds, has been designed for use with two inch hitches. The part number on it is C18151. As you can see, we've got a nice expanded steal floor here on our carrier, that's going to allow dirt and debris and things like that two fall right through. We won't have to worry about corrosion build up on top. We're also going to have a nice raised rail all the way around the outside. This is going to measure about five and a half inches. Not only will it give us good side to side and front to back stability, but it also offers some really nice connection point to go all the way around the outside. It looks like here in the rear we're going to have about nine and a quarter of an inch worth of ground clearance. more

You'll see it's going to have that nice, sturdy aluminum construction which is going to offer a 500-pound weight capacity. With its big base and shank underneath, you'll be able to attach to your 2-inch receivers with ease. It's also going to have that anti-tilt device that's going to help to keep it sturdy on the back of the vehicle. Those are going to attach using two 5/8 inch bolts on the bottom side to press up against the bottom side of the receiver and attaching finally with the retaining hitch pin and clip. Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Lets Go Aero GearCage. This is going to be your 32 inch wide by 48 inch long cargo carrier. It's going to have that sturdy steel construction for a 300-pound weight capacity as well as that sturdy steel base and a 2-inch shank connecting to our 2-inch receiver. Now, the 2-inch shank that connects to the 2-inch receiver is going to connect via an anti-rattle bolt and it's going to be 7/8 inches in size and we'll have safety clip on the other side. That's going to help to ensure that there's going to be very little sway, rattle and wobble on the back end of your vehicle. Now, let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be from the back of the bumper to the front side of the cargo carrier at about 4 3/4 inches. more

We are using the class two rather, we can go up to 350 and with the class three it will go all the way up to 500 pounds. Now to begin our test fit, we are just going to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up our threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. more

Slide it in far enough so that our pinhole lines up with our hitch pinhole. Once we have those in line we're going to slide through our standard 5/8 pin. more

It has a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is C18145. This is one of the, as the title implies, one of the more compact cargo carriers that we offer so it might be a really good choice if you don't have a lot of room to store one but still need the utility of it. To begin our test fit, as you see, we just slide the shank into the receiver tube of the hitch. We line up our threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. Once we have those in line we've got a anti-rattle bolt that we're going to thread in. more

Today on our 2012 Hyundai Veracruz we're going to do a test fit on the 24 by 60 Surco Cargo Carrier. Now they've design this for use in two inch hitches, it offers us a 500 pound weight capacity, the part number is 52018. To begin our test fit we need to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, as we do we're going to line up our pin hole with our hitch pin hole. With those in line we'll slide through a standard 5/8ths pin and we'll secure it on the other side using our clap. Now, the pin and clip are sold separately, you can find them listed as part number PC3. Take the closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is going to be about two and a half inches away. Overall we've added about twenty-seven and a half inches to the length of our Hyundai. more

The part number is MT70108. Now to begin the test fit, we're going to slide the shank of our carrier right into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll slide it in far enough we line up our pin hole with our hitch pin hole and we'll take our anti rattle bolt and slide that through and we can secure it on the other side here using our clip. The pin and clip are sold separately, you can find those on our website as part number PC3. Looks like the closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is going to be about five and a quarter inches away. more

We got a threaded hole here, we need to line that up with our hitch pin hole. We can then take our threaded bolt which is provided and slide that in and thread it down by hand. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Curt 20x48 cargo carrier for both inch and a quarter and two-inch hitches part #C18145. Now, our vehicle is equipped with a inch and a quarter hitch. We removed the included adapter from our cargo carrier and we're ready to fit it to the vehicle. We'll insert the cargo carrier shank into the hitch and line up the hitch pin hole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, we'll put the safety pin on the other side which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. Now we'll give you a few measurements. more
