Today on our 2016 Honda CRV, we've got out the Curt 20" by 60" Folding Cargo Carrier, we're doing a test fit on it. This cargo carrier has a capacity of 500 pounds, and they designed it for use in 2" hitches, the part number on it is C18251. Now this carrier has got kind of the smaller size expanded steel, so you're going to have room for dirt and debris and stuff to fall down and through, but it's also going to give us good support even if we're transporting some smaller items. We've got a raised rail all the way around the outside, this offers good front-to-back, and side-to-side support. It's going to be about 5 1/2" tall, and it's also going to give us some good connection points for our tie-downs once we have everything loaded up. As far as ground clearance goes, we've got about 15 1/4". Overall our carrier adds about 33 1/2" to the back of the CRV. more
