Now the Piston is a very high-end bike rack with a lot of premium convenience features. The biggest one being the piston, that's where it gets its name. So with the hit of a button, these arms are gonna open up with those integrated pistons to allow you to load up your bikes or get them off a lot easier. The big thing with these is the Kashima coating on the arms themselves. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec platform style bike rack on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, this is a platform style bike rack holding the bike by the frame. We've got our frame hook up here as our primary method of contact. We have wheel cradles with wheel straps at the bottom but this is the thing that's actually holding the bike down in place primarily and holding it upright. Because it makes frame contact, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes and with alternative frame bikes, we will need a bike adapter bar to ensure good contact with that frame and holding it securely. more

Rhino Rack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack hanging style bike rack, here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, this is a hanging style bike rack, meaning it hangs by the frame. We've got two straps over top of the frame, holding it down in these cradles, with a third one around the seatpost, limiting our side to side movement and bike to bike contact. There is still, obviously, going to be some movement but it will definitely help with that. more

This is a platform-style bike rack holding the bike primarily by our frame here, with this cradle and strap around the frame. That is gonna mean we wanna avoid carbon frame bikes, because it's making frame contact. Although, because of the way this cradle and strap works, it does rotate 360 degrees and it's able to adapt to the frame. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima HangTight 6-Bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now this style of rack is gonna hang the bike by the handle bars down the back. You can see with this, we fit a lot of bikes in here. Your only other options, really as far as carrying this many bikes on your vehicle would be to have a 4-bike rack plus two on the roof, which then requires a roof rack and a lot of lifting to get those bikes up there. While this bike rack does sit pretty high on most vehicles we actually are at a pretty reasonable height here on the Palisade. more

Now, the Sherpa is gonna be a really solid bike rack, holding it by the rear wheel and by the front tire here, meaning zero frame contact. That's gonna be good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes, and it does have a 40 pound weight capacity per bike. So, be careful with your e-bikes, you're probably not gonna be able to get those on here. If you are looking for something that can handle your e-bikes, maybe check into the Kuat NV, that has a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, so that could be a good option. more

It is gonna hold the bike really well here and one thing that I think sets this apart from any other e-bike rack out there is how easy it is to tilt the rack away from the vehicle with the bikes loaded. more

So first, we're gonna tilt this down. You have this lever right over here, you're gonna wanna pull that lever and just let it drop down. So this can be an awesome way if you're finding trouble or having trouble I should say, getting your heavy E-bikes onto your carriers. And why I say that, and as the name suggests, we are gonna have a ramp that is gonna assist us of actually getting our bikes onto our carrier. It also is gonna support a 66 pound weight capacity limit, making sure that it's actually built and ready to handle your heavy E-bikes, which is great. Especially if you're comparing this to some of the other carriers on the market, a lot of them are gonna kinda come to a standstill at about 60 pounds per bike. more

So guys, it's gonna be a really nice way of getting a lot of bikes to your destination, wherever you're going. And I really do like this platform because we're getting up to those four bikes that we want on here, as well as having a 35 pound weight capacity per bike. That's gonna make it excellent for most of our standard road bikes and even some of our smaller mountain bikes. And I think it's a great family choice, 'cause obviously you can probably get a lot more bikes there, opposed to your normal like, two style platform racks out there. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangelina here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Rocky Mount's Monorail One, which means solo bike rack here on our 2021 Hyundai Palisade. This is a great bike rack if you want something that has that extra heavy weight capacity for your electric bikes, as well your fat tire bikes, or even your carbon frame bikes, like what we have here right now. One of its features is that it can tilt away, and to do so, you're going to have to pull this lever right there allowing it to drop down to a stop and you'll want to do this if you want to, say, access your hatch, and you can see how there is space between our door and our bike, allowing us to get in there, maybe grab our water or our helmets or our bags all without having to worry about taking our bike off. It's a nice, quick and easy solution. To bring it up, you're just going to have to lift this up and then it will snap back into place in this position. more

Now this is a good bike rack if you're filled up your Palisade with all your friends, all your family, and you all want to go for a bike ride and you need a bike rack that's relatively light, relatively affordable and can carry bikes at different shapes and different sizes. Now let's first take a look at how our bike is mounted to this bike rack. We have one, two wheel straps holding that in place as well as a frame mount here, holding onto our bikes frame. Note how this frame mount is holding onto it by its down shoe, which is nice because we have this frame mount that can rotate 360 around, up, down to fit bikes of different shapes and sizes. So, if you have your children's bikes your step-through bikes or your women's bikes this will work with that. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at the Curt Premium Four hanging-style bike rack here on our 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Now, I like this bike rack if I'm gonna be carrying around a bunch of bikes and I don't want to be maneuvering through these arms. Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade YA44FR- Video
Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Yakima BackRoad four-bike hanging style rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, what's great about this bike rack is that it can carry four of your bikes, it has a nice design feature to keep them safe from scuffs and scratches, and its cradles are a good ways apart so your bikes aren't tangled up while you're driving around. The way the bike is mounted to our bike rack here are at three mounting points, so one, two and three. This third one right here is the anti-sway cradle, so it greatly reduces the sway of our bike while we are driving around.To take it off, what you need to do is press in the levers and then pull the ZipStrips out, so one, two and three. You can put them in your pocket or in your glove box when you're out for a ride. I'll just put them on there for now. more

On a 2020 Hyundai Palisade, so no frame contact so it's going to be good for carbon bikes and painted bikes.
