The NV 2.0 is a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting two bikes up to 60 pounds a piece. It's gonna hold onto our bike primarily with this front wheel hook here, and one strap down here at the bottom, so you can mix and match a bunch of different types of bikes on here. Carbon frame is fine cause we don't make any frame contact. Alternative frame style bikes are also gonna work 'cause we hold 'em by the wheel. more

CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Premium Hitch Bike Rack and how it fits on a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The Curt Premium is a hanging style bike rack capable of supporting four bikes up to 180 pounds total. It's gonna hold onto our bike primarily by the top tube and let the rest of the bike hang down, hence the name. It's gonna support our bike with three straps, two on the top and one anti-sway strap on the side here. As you can see here with the front tire, it is free hanging right now though, so if we rotate it all the way, it'll make contact with the back of our Sierra, so we recommend picking up some stabilizer straps if you can, just to secure that in place. more

So it's gonna work with a lot of different styles of bike. The first feature that we're going to show off is the fact that the rack does have the ability to tilt away with the bikes loaded up and the handle's actually really accessible. more

It holds onto our bikes primarily with this wheel hook here in the front and one additional strap down here in the back, so if you wanna use this with your carbon frame bikes, you can, you maybe just have a really nice paint job and you wanna avoid that frame contact, for either case, you can do that, if you have an alternative frame-style bike, you'll avoid that as well, and it is rated for the weight of your heavy e-bike, so you can use those too. First feature that we're going to show off is the fact that it can tilt away with the bike loaded up, and I really like where the handle is located to tilt it away, 'cause it's in the front, and if I have another bike loaded up, I can just pull that anyway. And it tilts pretty aggressively. more

No straps or anything else so this is the only place that's gonna hold onto your bike and it does make frame contact so if you wanna use your carbon frame bikes, we'd recommend against it 'cause it could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. And if you have a really aggressive alternative frame you might have to pick up a bike adapter bar. A really simple entry level bike rack. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with "etrailer." Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Two Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. Now this is going to be a very entry level option for a platform style bike rack. Platform style meaning it holds a bike in these trays and this one is going to have two straps down at the bottom that pull the bike down and in as well as a frame cradle that slides up and down, can be rotated around and has a strap that runs around the bike to hold it in place on this pad. Now that means a couple things. Frame contact means we want to avoid carbon frame bikes but with the way that cradle and pad can be manipulated, moved around and rotated, it does work really well for alternative frame bikes. more

CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT premium hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. So this is a hanging style bike rack which means the bike is hanging by the frame up here. It's sitting down into our cradles and held in place with these two rubber straps stretched over the frame with a third one around the seat post here, helping to control our side-to-side movement. It doesn't completely eliminate it but it does help quite a bit. And with this you can hold up to four bikes. more

Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Lincoln Navigator- Video

Now, this is going to be a four-bike hanging style bike rack. What that means is, you're holding the bike by the frame up here and it hangs down below the rack. You've got two points of contact up top, holding that frame down into our cradles using the zip strips. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Lincoln Navigator- Video

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Lincoln Navigator. Like I said, this is gonna be a hanging style bike rack which means the bike is held up here by the frame hanging down below the bike rack. We've got two points of contact up top in the form of these rubber straps, stretching over the frame holding it down in the deep cradles, with a third one on the side, limiting our side to side movement helping with bike to bike contact. There is still some movement there but this does do a pretty good job, especially compared to other hanging style racks at limiting that movement. And I will say this is a very entry level hanging style bike rack, so there's not a whole lot of features with this, but if you're looking for something simple, this could be a possible solution. more

RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Away 2 Bike Rack Review- Video

Hi everyone, Aiden here at the etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty SwingAway bike rack. If you're familiar with the RockyMounts GuideRail, this is going to be very similar in the way that it holds the bike by our tires and everything else is pretty much a carbon copy of the GuideRail except that this has the SwingAway base. It's gonna be really nice for Vans, trucks with tailgates, any sort of situation where you might want to swing the rack away rather than just being able to tilt it down. Let's check it out. Much like the GuideRail though, this does still have the tilting feature. more

With it being a dual wheel mount here, we don't have to worry about any sort of frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. It's a two-bike platform rack that makes it easier for you to unload and load up your bikes and this one is designed for inch and a quarter hitches. So even if you have a smaller vehicle you can still have the whole adventure. Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Inno Tire Hold two bike platform rack fits on a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. So you have a larger vehicle and you may wanna get some larger bikes onto your rack. You might want something that's easier to load the bikes up onto, but doesn't take up as much space. That's where the Inno Tire Hold might come in handy. It has some fun features here like the dual wheel mount design and the extra weight capacity but there are some downsides too. RockyMounts RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty SwingAway Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. So, like it looks right now, the big benefit of this is that it's a swing away bike rack. So, for your trucks it's gonna be a really solid fit because it allows full clearance with your tailgate and full access to it where we don't have something in our way, so if we need to get something loaded or unloaded, hop in the back or just have a place to sit. One, we have clearance because a lot of times even with a bike rack tilts away, it doesn't have full clearance, and you'll see that a little bit later, but even when it does have full clearance, it's still sitting in front of the tailgate and it doesn't give us a good place to sit. more

Like the name suggests, it does come included with a ramp so it's easy to load and unload your e-bikes. It's got a 66 pound capacity per bike, so it's more than capable of handling even some heavier e-bikes. Just keep in mind that weight capacity when you are using it. more
