Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Chevrolet Sonic- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, we're going to do a test fit on the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box. This is going to offer us 13 cubic feet of storage space, comes in a nice aeroskin black finish. Part number on it is TH624. As you can see, we've got our Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system that we've already installed on our Sonic. So we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box up onto the roof of the vehicle. The feet are designed to hang through the bottom of the box, so we found this is the best time to get them in line so that when they put it down they're going to go around our bars. Now the Force is designed to be opened both from the driver's side and the passenger's side, so we'll want to take a quick look to help us ensure that we have our box centered. We'll then open up the passenger's side. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Today on our 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14. This is a roof top cargo box. It offers 14 cubic feet of storage space, comes in a matte black finish, it's part number is Y07192. We've got the Yakima Rail Grab Roof Rack Sgystem already installed on our Santa Fe so we'll begin the test fit by picking up the box and placing it right onto our bars. You're going to have a red button located on each side. I found it's easier to put one hand in front of that red button, one hand behind it to help balance as we pick it up to go on the car. We'll place our box directly up onto the roof rack onto our vehicle. We want to position our clamps so they're going to be located just in front of those crossbars. more

We'll position the clamps so they sit just in front of the crossbars. We'll then slide rearward on the box, being sure that as we do, the lower portions of our clamp come around the underside of those crossbars. Now, I found it's a pretty good idea to put one hand forward of the lock system, one hand slightly behind it when you pick it up. It's the best way to keep it balanced. We found this is the best time to get our feet lined up so they'll go around our bars. With all four of our feet around our bars, we'll now take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered. We'll then open the passenger side, reach in and tighten the two gray knobs located closest to us. A great feature of the Force Medium is its ability to open from both of the passenger and the driver side. With our passenger side secured, we'll now make our way around to the driver side, open the box and tighten the two gray knobs located here. more

We found in picking it up, it's good to have a hand just slightly in front of the lock and then one on the other side just slightly behind it. That is going to help you to balance a little bit when you're picking up a larger box such as this. Now the feet on the Sonic are designed to hang out of the bottom of the box so this is going to be the best time to get those lined up so they'll go around our load bars. Going to go to the rear, give it just a little push forward; also make sure it's centered, which it is. more

We're then going to open the passenger side where we're going to reach in and we're going to tighten the 2 Acu-Tite knobs that are located closest to us. more

As you can see, the feet are designed to stick out of the bottom of the box so we found that this is the best time to get these in line so they'll go around our bars. With all four of the feet going around the bars, let's take a look up here at the front to be sure we have our box centered on the top of our vehicle. It looks pretty close, believe it or not. We'll then open up our passenger door, open the passenger side of the box and inside we're going to find two gray knobs located here on the passenger side. Tightening these knobs secures our clamp around our bars. more

We've found with these larger boxes, it makes it easier to put one hand in front of your lock and your other hand behind the lock. We'll then place it up onto our crossbars. With the feet designed to hang out of the bottom of the box the way they do with the Sonic, we've found that this is the best time to get them lined up so they'll go around our bars. Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Equinox, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet of space in Matte Black, part number Th614. With the Thule Rapid CrossRoad Roof Rack System installed we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. Now since this box only opens from one side, you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots on the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar and tighten down the clamps to secure it. Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Equinox we'll be test-fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with thirteen cubic feet of space in AeroSkin Black, Part Number TH624. With the Thule Rapid Crossroad Roof Access installed, we'll begin our test-fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll turn the knobs which will tighten on the clamps around the bars. After moving to the other side of the vehicle we'll repeat the same process. This double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, I'll move to the back of the cargo box. As you can see, we can easily gain access to the rear hatch. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Force Medium, Part Number Th624 on our 2013 Chevy Equinox. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, with 13 cubic feet of storage space in arrow-skin black. It's part number TH624. With our Thule Rapids Reverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Tacoma, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. We found this is the best time to get our feet in line so we'll go around our bars. With all four of our feet around our load bars, we'll now take a quick look to be sure we have the box center. We'll then open the passenger side where we'll reach in and tighten the two knobs located closest to us. A great feature of the Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box is its ability to open from both the passenger and the driver side. With the passenger side secure, we'll now make our way around to the driver side, open the box and tighten the two knobs located on this side. With all four of our foot packs tight, we're now ready to load it down with some gear and hit the road. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box with 22 cubic feet of space, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Reverse Roof Rack System installed on the roof of our car, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps around the bars. This box does feature the AccuTight mounting hardware which will notify you when the clamps have been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. Rhino-Rack Master-Fit Rooftop Cargo Box Review RRRMFZ66- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Master Fit Roof Top Cargo Box. This offers 14 cubic feet of storage space, comes in a really nice gloss black finish, it's part number is RRRMFZ66. Our roof top cargo box makes it easy to get the gear from inside of the car to the outside, freeing up that space inside. It offers weather protection, the side rails come all the way around and you've got another lip up inside. Also the seams on the bottom, or the slits that are in the bottom allowing your foot packs to come through and grab also have gasket protection there to keep any of the water, the mud, the snow from getting inside the box onto your gear. The Rhino Rack Master Fit Roof Top Cargo Box is going to offer a design that allows us to open it from both the passenger side here and the driver side. That's going to allow really easy access whenever we need to get to our gear. As you can see the Rhino Rack Master Fit Box includes four Master Fit foot packs. These foot packs are unique in the fact that they'll actually lock the handle into position so you can't turn it by pushing the lever into the small dot position. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Masterfit Rooftop Cargo Box. This offers 17-1/2 cubic feet of storage space. It comes in a nice high gloss black finish. It's part number of RRRMFZ86. The Rooftop Cargo Box is going to allow you to easily get the gear outside of your vehicle and store it on the roof of your car where it's still going to be protected from the weather. We've got nice deep sides that lap over preventing any water from running over the edge inside as well as the gaskets underneath on the slits on the bottom of the box that are going to prevent any water, snow, dirt or debris getting up in through that area. Cargo box offers a nice gloss black finish and a low-profile design that really makes it look nice on top of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Yukon XL well be test fitting the Thule Force Medium rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space in aeorskin black, part number TH624.With the factory roof rack on our Yukon well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicles crossbars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars we can unlock the box, open the lid and expose the two closest knobs. Well then turn the grey knobs which will tighten down the clamps around the crossbars. Well then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2015 Mazda CX-5- Video
Today on our 2015 Mazda CX-5, we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14, a rooftop cargo box with 14 cubic feet of storage space in black, part number Y07192. With the Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the Mazda, we'll place our cargo box directly onto the crossbars. We'll position the clamps just in front of the bars, then slide the box rearward, making sure that all four lower portions of our clamps come around the underside of our bars. With all four clamps in the right position, we'll take a quick look to be sure we have the box centered. We'll then open the passenger side, reach in and tighten the two red T handles located closest to us. This draws the lower of the clamp up and grabs our bar. A great feature of the Rocketbox Pro 14 is its ability to open from both the passenger and the driver side. With our passenger side secure, we'll now make our way around to the driver side. more
