It offers 14 cubic feet of space and with our Yakima roof rack system already installed on our vehicle, we can go ahead and set our box on top. We'll want to set it ahead of our load bars. We want to make sure our clamps are opened up and we'll go ahead and slide it the rest of the way on. Then I'll go ahead and hop up there and then we'll slide it into place. Once I've got that done, I'll go ahead and center it up with the vehicle and then we can open it up. We'll grab our key, we'll unlock it and open it. more

All right, another thing I would like to mention real quick is that you do want to favor one side of the car because our box only opens from this side. We'll go ahead and favor it to this side. What we'll want to do is once we get that set up, we'll go ahead and unlock our box, open it up, and you'll notice our four tightening knobs. more

You want to make sure that the clamps are around your aero bars as you can see there, go ahead and make your adjustments now, makes it a little bit easier. We'll go ahead and screw it up, make sure our other clamps are lined up. Now once we have it on there we can go ahead and center it up with the car if we'd like. That looks about right. All right now that we've got it centered up, we'll go ahead and unlock it, open it up and we've got our 4 knobs as you can see there, we'll go ahead and start tightening them. more

Now, it offers fourteen cubic feet of space, so with our Yakima crossbars already installed we'll go ahead and load our rooftop cargo box on top. You want to make sure your clamps are open, as you can see there. What I like to do is just set the box on the load bars, make sure all my clamps are open, and just slide it into place as you see there, and kind of angle it, pushing on it, and slide it into place to make sure all the clamps are where they need to be. Now that we've done that we'll go ahead and unlock it, push the button, open it up. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 series crew cab pickup we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11. This is going to have 11 cubic feet of space. it's part number Y07193. We've already got our Yakima roof rack system in place, so we're going to go ahead and load the cargo box on top of the cross bars. I'm going to open this door first so I can step into the truck a bit and get elevated. Once it's on top of your roof rack you're going to want to turn the key to the unlock position, press the red button right here which will allow you to open the cargo box, at which time you're going to put the feet in place so that the black feet will be fitted around the roof rack. If you need to loosen these a little bit more, you can do so with the red T handle on the inside. more

Today on our 2015 Audi Q7 we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XL rooftop cargo box. That's part number TH635S. This box is going to have 17 cubic feet of space on the inside. Now with our Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack system in place we're going to put this box right on top of the load bars. As we're doing that we're going to angle the box towards the roof, and that will allow us to put our feet right around the load bars. Once those are around we can slide it across, then fitting our other feet around the load bars. more

Thule Force XXL Roof Box Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse, well be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Roof Top Cargo Box with 21 cubic feet of space, aero skin black in color, part number TH626. With the factory roof rack system on our Traverse, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicles crossbars. You want to be careful when placing the cargo box up onto your roof if you have the factory crossbars, as you dont want the clamps to be resting on the part where the crossbar anchors to the roof as it may have been the clamp. Once we have the clamps fit around the bars and the boxes in position, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. Well then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps up against the bars. Now this double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. Well move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box 16 cubic feet in matte black part number TH615. This cargo box is a great way to carry your outdoor equipment, large luggage or baby gear, for up to five people on the roof of your car freeing up more room on the inside. The single-sided opening lid offers safe loading and unloading of cargo from the passenger side of the vehicle. It's over-sized secure lock ensures that the lid is closed and locked. The key can only be removed if all the latches have been engaged and the box is fully closed. The key cannot be removed when the box is unlocked. The lock can also be swapped out to make all of your Thule accessories keyed alike. more

Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 GMC Acadia- Video
Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia, we'll be test-fitting the Toolie Force Medium rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space, aeroskin black and color, Part Number TH624. With a inaudible 00:00:12 rapid crossroads installed onto our Arcadia, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs, which will tighten down the clamps up against the bars. This double-sided lid also enables you to load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. After moving to the other side of the vehicle, we'll repeat the same process. We'll then move to the rear, and as you can see the rear hatch does not come in contact with the back of the box. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Force Medium, Part Number TH624 on our 2012 GMC Arcadia. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, we're going to do a test fit on the Thule Force XXL Roof Top Cargo Box. This is going to offer us 21 cubic feet of storage space, has a nice aero-skin black finish to it. The part number on it is TH626. This is one of the longer cargo boxes that we carry, so it's a good idea to kind of spread your hands out a little bit, get one towards the front, one closer to the rear as you lift it. We've already got our Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System installed on the vehicle, so we'll just place our cargo box up here. We want to get our feet in line, so they'll go around our bars. They're designed to hang out of the bottom, so this is definitely the best time to get this situated so you won't have any issues. more

Part number is TH626. We've already got the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system installed on our fit so we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box right up onto our load bars. With these larger boxes it's a good idea to have one hand lower, one hand a little bit higher, when you're picking it up to help you evenly distribute the weight. The feet on the Force are designed to hang out of the bottom of the box. We found this is the best time to get those lined up so they'll go around our load bars. more

The part number on it is TH626. The XXL boxes are a larger box, if you do have a friend or a partner handy there, it might be a good idea to have them help. If you don't, I recommend kind of spreading your hands out a little bit here to kind of evenly distribute the weight. That way you're not going to have big issues with it being front or back heavy. We've already got the Thule Rapids Crossroads Roof Rack System that we've installed on the Patriot, so we're just going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto our bars. more

Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse, we'll be test fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 13 cubic feet of space, AeroSkin Black in color, part number Th624. With a factory roof rack system installed onto our Traverse, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's cross bars. You want to be careful in placing the box on the roof, that the clamps don't rest on the part where the crossbar anchors to the roof line as the clamp could bend and be damaged. With the box in position, we can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs, which will tighten on the clamps or on the bars. By this double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we'll move to the back. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Subaru Forester- Video
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11. This is a rooftop cargo box. Offers 11 cubic feet of storage space, has a nice matte black finish to it. Part number on it is Y07193. We've already got our Yakima RailGrab roof rack system installed so we're going to begin our test fit by placing the RocketBox right up onto our crossbars here. As we sit it up here we want to position our clamps so they'll rest just in front of our crossbars. Once we have them all sitting just in front we're just going to slide our box rearward. more

Thule Sonic XXL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we're going to be a test fit of the Tooley Sonic Double XL rooftop cargo box. This offers 22 cubic feet of storage space, has a nice metallic silver finish to it. Part number is TH-636S. Now this is also available in a back if you'd prefer that, part number on that: TH-636B. Now to begin our test fit, we're just going to place this up onto our Tooley Rapid Crossroads roof rack system that we've already got installed. Looks like my cap came out. Now, it's a good idea to spread your hands our a little bit here and disperse the weight a little bit evenly. more

Thule Sonic Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box. This offers up 13 cubic feet of storage space, has a nice glossy black finish to it, the part number on it is TH634B. If you prefer it in silver, this is also available as part number TH634S. As you can see, we've got the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof rack system that we've already installed onto the Patriot, so we'll begin our test fit by just kind of positioning our foot packs so they'll fit around our bars, certainly the best time to do it. The foot packs are designed to hang out of the bottom when not in use, so you really want to get them in line before you slide them on there. To try to get as much clearance as possible, I'm going to set those rear foot packs as far back as I can. Maybe that will give us the room we need later to open that rear hatch. Once we have it up there and our foot packs going around our crossbars, let's take a look to be sure we have our box centered. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box. This offers us 16 cubic feet of storage space, comes in a nice black matte finish. The part number on it is TH615. To begin our test fit, we'll place the cargo box right up onto the roof line of our vehicle. Today we've got the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System that we'll be installing it on. There's four slots in the bottom of the box. We want to position those over the top of our load bars. more

To begin our test fit, we're going to place the cargo box right up onto our Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system that we've got installed. This box is designed to open from the passenger side, so we'll want to favor this side as we put it on. I'm now just going to take a quick look to be sure we have it sitting on our roof line straight. It's pretty good. We're now going to, in this case the vehicle's a little bit taller, I like to stand up on the door sill here, but we'll open the passenger side of our box, step up, and inside we're going to find four foot packs. In the bottom of the box, we've got four slots so we'll place one foot pack into each of the slots that we've got down there. more

As you can see, the feet are designed to hang out of the bottom of the box here. We're going to get these adjusted as we place this on to go around our bars. Once we have all four of our feet around our bars we need to center our box on the roof line of our vehicle. Now that we've got that centered, lets open up the passenger side here. more

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review- Video
Today we'll be reviewing the Thule Sonic Medium rooftop cargo box, part number TH634B. This cargo box is a great way to carry anything from groceries to carry-on luggage for up to three people. The pre-installed AcuTight mounting clamps allow for a simple 5-minute installation onto your rooftop crossbars. To mount the Sonic Large, simply place the box onto your roof and center the clamps over the crossbars. The clamps and dials are mounted in tracks so they can be easily repositioned for vehicles with shorter roofs, but keep in mind, the crossbar's spread must be a minimum of 23-5/8". We can then turn the dials located inside the box until they make a ratcheting sound and your box is secured to the vehicle. The box has a pointed aero nose design that helps to reduce drag and wind noise when your vehicle is in motion, and the high-flow base let's air pass between the vehicle and the box, which also helps to reduce drag and maintain fuel economy. . You'll also notice that the rear-angled base helps to prevent the box from interfering with your trunk or hatch door, which makes this box perfect for SUVs with rear spoilers. more
