Now there are many reasons you're going to want an after market sway bar on your motor home. Now, one is if your vehicle doesn't already have a sway bar in the back of it, such as this one. This is going to greatly reduce the amount of side to side sway in the back.So as we're driving down the road, by having our sway bar in place, if a Semi we're to pass us, we won't be steering, trying to keep our vehicle to go straight. This will allow us to keep the steering wheel more centered as we're driving in a straight line. Also, when we're going around the corners, we won't be having to counter steer quite as much when we're leaving the corners because we're not having the body roll that we're used to having without having the sway bar in place.So for example, if we're turning left, we'll have more weight transfer to our right side, and that'll cause the right end to dip down, and the left side to pick up. more

One being, as we're traveling down the road, the cross wind situation via it be from wind blowing across the highway or a passing semi truck, we're not going to be fighting the steering wheel quite as much to keep us straight. The steering stabilizer will give the effect of having the wheel staying more straight as we're tracking true and straight down the road.Also, as we encounter ruts in the highway, we won't be fighting the wheel as much of having the tires try to follow the ruts, it'll pass over them easier and you won't have this going on as you're driving. The side effect of this is you will find yourself being less tired as you arrive at your destination. There will be less driver fatigue because you're not constantly fighting the steering wheel trying to keep your RV traveling in a straight line.Now in the event of a front tire blowout, our steering stabilizer will also make it easier for us to maintain control to bring out motor home to a safe stop. more

It is designed to fit the 2003, the 2009 Chevrolet Kodiak 4500 and 5500 vehicles and the 2003 and 2009 GMC TopKick with the diesel engine. This part will make your vehicle easier to steer and control with the TruTrac system. It will brace your vehicle's axle to prevent jarring and help keep it in line, minimizes wander rut tracking to improve overall performance and it controls excessive axle side play without affecting the up and down movement of your suspension.
