Today we're taking a look at a replacement connecting pin for snowplows. This replaces the connecting pin for Fisher snowplows. It replaces Fisher Part Number 6815. It's made from a durable steel construction with a protective finish which is designed to keep it safe from rust and corrosion. The product is made in the U.S.A.It has an actual pin diameter, measuring this area right here of one inch, and a usable pin length, that measurement was taken from the bottom of this area to the closest point of this pin hole, so usable pin length, that gave us a measurement of around 3-3/4 inches, and the overall length of the unit, measuring end to end, gives a measurement of about 7-1/8 inches.That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement connecting pin for Fisher snowplows. SAM Fisher/Western Snowplow Replacement Plow Harness Repair Kit Review- Video
Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer again. Today we're taking a look at the inaudible 00:00:03 replacement part for the Fisher and Western plows. Compared to the original plug, this is going to be a carbon copy, same angles on the end, same alignment tab there. This is going to work out really well, whether this one's been crushed, damaged, maybe we pulled on it too hard and stretched some of the wires, or it's just become corroded to a point where we can't use it or get it properly connected.To replace it we're going to cut this off an inch or two right behind this plug. Get rid of that plug, and you'll see all nine of our wires here are going to have butt connectors on them already. You could easily connect those up at that point.Something I would recommend, since this is going to be on the exterior of the vehicle, would be to replace these standard butt connectors with heat shrink butt connectors. more

Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement 2"x16" heavy duty angling cylinder for the Western snowplow. Now, this part will replace the angling cylinder on the Western snowplows. It does replace the Western part number 25878 and this is a heavy duty 2" diameter rod. It has a 16" stroke with a single acting lift cylinder.Now the center is centered dimension, in other words, from the center of this pole, when it's retracted like it is now, it's 23-1/4". When it's extended because it has a 16" stroke would be 39-1/4". Thickness of the rod right up here, it's going to be right at 2". more

Today we're going to take a look at the replacement one and a half inch by twelve inch power angling cylinder for the Meyer's snow plows. Now this part will replace the lift and angle cylinders in the Meyer and Diamond snow plows. It does replace the Meyer part number 05437. It does have a twelve inch stroke with a single acting lift cylinder. Center to center dimensions on this, when it's retracted, which it is now, from the center of this hole to this hole is gonna be 18 inches. And then of course when it's extended it'll be 30 inches, since it has a 12 inch stroke.The thickness on the rod itself is gonna be right at one and a half inches. more

This is what we have, it's from Sam and it's gonna be an exact copy of the plug, so if this is damaged, it gets a bunch of corrosion in there. We have issues like that. We'll just pull this back and we wanna cut it about an inch or two from our original plug and then all of our wire colors are gonna match up. The butt connectors are already here, so we'll just strip our wires here, get it clamped on or crimped on there and we'll be in good shape. more

Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at eTrailer again. Today we're taking a look at the SAM replacement blade guide. This is a flexible guide, see it's got the cap here on the top for high visibility. It'd be in black, and it measures 22 inches long from the end here to the end here.Now, specifically, these are going to work with all your Fisher snowplows, but it can also work with any other plow that has a guide hole. As long as you've got that three eighths inch hole going through the top of your plow, this'll go through without any issues. You can see we're going to have the nut and the star washer for the top and the bottom, so once we get this secure, we'll never have to worry about that loosening up.The nuts are going to require an 11/16ths inch wrencher socket. more

Now, when it comes to the measurements of this pin starting with the diameter, measuring right here, edge to edge, it gives us a one-inch diameter. The overall length from the bottom of the head to the very end of the pin, it's about four and three-quarter inches long.Now, our usable pin length is measured from the bottom of the head right here to the closest portion of that pin hole, which is where a clip would install. As you can see, that measures around four inches, maybe four and one-sixteenth, right in that area. more

It does come with a brand new bolt and nut for mounting.Now, your trip spring assembly allows your trip edge on the bottom of the snow plow to function properly. Over time, the springs can become damaged or that center shaft area can actually bend and cause the spring to function incorrectly. So this is a whole new assembly, so you have the spring right here and then you have your mount and you have that center shaft area that goes through the spring. more

The center-to-center dimensions, in other words when it's retracted like the position it is now, is 17 and a quarter inches, and when it's fully extended it's 27 and a quarter inches. Today we're gonna take a look at the Replacement Blade Guide Kit with Bolt on Base for Snow Way SnowPlow. These are going to be the guides to go either side of your snowplow blade, that's gonna help to increase the visibility of your snowplow, and also help to let you know where those edges are so you can make sure that you're clearing the way effectively. As you can see these are going to be very bright, very visible sort of fluorescent orange color. These are gonna be made of a nylon material, and they do have some flex there so if you happen to hit a low hanging branch or maybe some other sort of obstruction, they should bend out of the way and come back to their shape.These are going to be a bolt on application, so at the base there's going to be a hole that the hardware will go through. We'll get two bolts and two lock nuts to get those in place. The overall measurement from the edge to the tip of the guide is going to be 24 inches, it's gonna have a half inch diameter. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Replacement Pin Kit. This is going to be a kickstand spring for a BOSS Snow Plow. This is going to come with the nice large handle pin that's going to connect with our spring, and we're also going to have our rolled pin and cotter pin.As far as the dimensions on all these, our total length on our pin is going to be about 6". The handle itself is going to be about 5", going from the end to where it starts to bend there. Going the other direction, that's going to be a total of 3" wide or tall, depending on how you look at it, and then that handle is going to be about 2" of usable space there.Our rolled pin is going to be 2". Our cotter pin is going to be about 1", and then our spring is going to measure about 2-1/4. more

Today, we're taking a look at the Replacement Cutting Edge Bolts and Locknuts. This kit simply offers enough hardware to replace the carriage bolts and locknuts for your Boss or Meyer's snowplow. The bolt size when it comes to the threaded area, this is a 1/2" diameter by 13, that's threads per inch. The length from the bottom of the bolt head to the end of the thread is 2" long. This is grade 5 hardware, it includes nine zinc carriage bolts and nine nylon locknuts. The zinc plating over the steel construction helps each one resist rust and corrosion. more

Today we're going to take a look at the replacement master seal kit from Meyer Snowplow. This is going to replace the master seal kit for your Meyer Snowplow plow. This is going to be compatible with hydraulic unit E-60 or E 6 0. This product is also made in the USA.As you can see we're going to have several different sizes that's going to come in our kit. Look at the largest size there, which is about 5 inches in diameter, then going down to 3 3/4, down to 2, 1 3/4 of an inch and then smaller from there. We'll have two of the 3 3/4 inch, two of these small ones and various sizes going on down. more

SAM Snow Plow Parts - Snow Plow Replacement Parts - 3371304700 Review- Video
Today we're going to take a look at the replacement 1.5" x 10" Power Angling Cylinder for the Boss Snow Plows. Now this part will replace the Power Angling Cylinder on a Boss Snowplow. It does replace the Boss part number HYD-01603. A few dimensions on this, the rod itself, right here the inner rod, the diameter on that is going to be right 1.5". The length of the rod inside is 10", so it does give you a 10" stroke with this power angling cylinder. The base portion right down here, diameter on that is going to measure right at 2 3/8". more

Today we're going to take a look at the replacement V Plow Pivot Pin for the Fisher Snow Plows. Now, this will replace the V Plow Pivot Pin on a Fisher Snow Plow, it does replace the Fisher part number 20988.A few measurements on this, the diameter of the pin itself is 13/16ths of an inch and the overall length is 29 and 9/16th inches long. SAM Snow Plow Parts - Snow Plow Replacement Parts - 3371304819 Review- Video
Today we are going to take a look at the replacement solenoid for Curtis Snowplow.This is a 12 volt DC, 100 amp, intermittent duty solenoid.This is going to basically act as the switch between your vehicles battery and the motor on your snowplow. So, whenever this is activated it is just going to be a coil that either magnetizes to interrupt that flow or connect it.This is going to be a direct replacement for that solenoid, again on your Curtis Snowplow.As far as the dimension on this, if we look at the bottom there is going to be a little plate that this can attach to. It has got two mounting holes there. The dimensions for that bracket, it is going to be about 2 7/8th of an inch wide, from outside edge to outside edge.The mounting holes themselves are going to be about 2 1/8th of an inch apart. The dimensions of those holes are also going to be about 3/8th of an inch by a quarter of an inch. Just to give you an idea of the kind of hardware that you'll need to attach as it does not come with any hardware to attach it. more
