Today on our 2015 Hyundai Tucson, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Canyon roof cargo basket, part number TH859. What we have already on our vehicle, we have three of the four universal holders on, we're going to put the last one on here. What we have here is our u-volt, which has two washers and two thumb screws. We're going to go underneath, making sure that our washers are over the plate here. like so, then we can start tightening them down. The dimension on this particular cargo basket is 49 x 40 x 6, it can hold up to 150lbs. It's made out a nice sturdy steel, it has a powder black coat on for rust and corrosion, so you won't get any of that. more

As you can see, we have this bracket in place, it is movable based on where you need it to be for your roof mounts. You can put on different bars depending on how wide you want it, and it does move back and forth. We take our U bolt. This does come with different size U bolts. more

Mostly the depth is different, because this is shallower than some of the other cross bars that we have. more

The dimensions for this particular basket are 49 by 40 by 6 feet, and it has a weight capacity of 150 pounds. Part number for this is TH859. We've already got three of our brackets in place and secured down, so we're just going to do our last one here, on our passenger side. I've already placed our middle brackets down. I situated that and secured it in place with our two bolts here. If you ever need to adjust those you can just take an allen key or an allen tool of any kind. more

With these hold downs, you have a spacer, that we already have here. We have a plate that sits on top, and we have 2 wing nuts. Put the plate on, put the u bolt on, and we'll get one of the wing nuts started. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota RAV4, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Roof Top Mounted Cargo Basket. This cargo basket is going to be part number TH859. It's going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and with a sturdy steel construction it's going to offer a 150 pound weight capacity. As you can see, we've already got three of the feet in place, two on the front and one on the rear. It's going to be mounted to the Thule AeroBlades but keep in mind that it does come with different u-hooks or u-bolts, such as these, to figure different roof rack systems. You'll place two of your wingnuts on the u-bolt with two washers on it as well. We'll then go ahead and adjust it by using the two Allen screws that are on each feet. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota Rav4, we're going to be doing a test rate of the Sport Rack Vista, roof top mount and cargo basket. This cargo basket is going to be 44 inches long, 39 and 1/8 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches, and with it's sturdy steel construction it's going to offer a 110 pound weight capacity. It does have the option of being extended if you wish. It's going to be part number SR9035. As you can see, we've already got three of the feet in place, two on the front and one on the back bar here. This roof rack system will fit most all of your roof rack systems with it's long U-bolt system they use to secure it down. We're going to go ahead and show you how to put on the last foot since they all go on the same way. Take your metal U-shaped bracket, place it over the top of your spacer block, that's in between your basket and your cross bar. more

So we just place this on making sure that our washers are sitting right above here. more

The first thing we're going to do is take our metal plate and place it on there, and then we're going to take our U-bolt there and put that through and hold onto it while we tighten down our thumb screws. I'm just going to tighten mine down until they're just loose enough that it sits on there. more

Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we are test fitting the Thule Trail roof cargo basket. Dimensions are 63x39.5, with about 6 inches deep. The weight capacity is about 165 pounds, but you do want to check and make sure in your owner's manual, for your vehicle, that it does have the capacity to hold that much on it's roof. As you can see, we do have our back two on the driver's side, and our back one on the passenger's side already clipped in. We're just going to show you how to connect the front here. It is the same way for all three, but it's easier to show you just one. You can see this metal piece right here, you want to make sure that's at about the middle of your crossbars, and keep them lose enough whenever you're putting the basket on so you can adjust it for your crossbars. more

Today on our 2015 Mazda 5, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop mounted cargo basket. This cargo basket's going to be part number TH859, measuring 49 inches in length, 40 inches wide and it's going to have a depth of 6 inches. With it's study steel construction, it's also going to offer a 150 pound weight capacity. As you can see, we've already two of our feet in place up front, on our front crossbar as well as one in the rear on the driver's side. This will fit most all of your roof rack systems, whether it's going to be your factory roof rack system, your elliptical, your aero, round, or square, or any other kind of crossbar that you may have, it will most likely fit with it's different adapters and pieces to the kit. One thing you will need to do before you get it up and this is going to be a little helpful hint or tip is going to be to adjust your feet, these metal feet using the two allen bolts there. You're going to adjust those tot he center of your crossbar spread. Say if you have a 32 inch crossbar spread, you're going to adjust the circles here, measure them 32 inches apart and then tighten them down. more

Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Canyon Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. Part number TH859. This cargo basket's going to measure 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches, and with the sturdy steel construction is going to offer a 150 pound weight capacity. We already have two of our feet in place, around our current crossbar. These are going to be your factory crossbars as well. Just note that it does come with multiple bolts and attachments so you can put it on your square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, aero-type bars and the factory ones like you see here. The first thing you are going to need to do, before you place it up on top of the vehicle, is space out your brackets to whatever the center-to-center crossbar spread is of your bars. If you just take a regular measuring tape, measure from one side, to the same point on the other side to get that distance. more

With its sturdy steel construction, it's going to offer a 150 pound weight capacity. As you can see, we've already got the two front feet in place with the brackets around our crossbars, as well as the driver's side rear. Now I'm going to show you how to place on the last one. One thing I do want to talk about is that before you get it set up on your vehicle, adjust your metal brackets and your feet here to fit your crossbar spread center to center of whatever that is. Our crossbar spread here is 27 1/2 inches, so we've spaced these out from the center cut out circle here to the circle on the front one, 27 1/2 inches. more

Also, giving you the option of making it longer if you desire by getting the addition and extension piece. If you look down on the bottom your going to see two of the feet already in place on the front, as well as the rear passenger side. Before you place your basket up here, it's always good to make sure you have your spacers in place. That's going to be these plastic pieces that are going to go in between your basket and your cross bar system. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista, Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket, part number SR9035. This basket's going to be 44 inches long, 39 1/8 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches and with it's sturdy steel construction, is going to offer a 110 lb. weight capacity. As you can see, we already have two of our feet in place on the front cross bar and one in place on the back passenger side of the back cross bar. First thing you're gonna need to do when you place it up on your vehicle, is place the spacer, that you see here, in between the basket and the crossbar. Next, you'll take your u-shaped bracket, that looks like so, place that over top of the spacer, sandwiching the basket in between that spacer and that spacer. Then take your U-shaped bolt, which the two threaded ends and nice protective rubber coating, passing that up though the bottom underneath the cross bar to where the threads come out the top of the top spacer. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. It's gonna be part number TH859. This basket is going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches, and with its sturdy steel construction is gonna offer a 150 lb weight capacity. The crossbars that it's resting on, and the body of the vehicle, just check to make sure that you're within the specifications of all the weight ratings when you place items up top. All right, another thing that I'm gonna add for this basket in particular, you'll see that at each of the feet have two allen bolts securing the clamp that you can adjust from end to end. Make sure that you adjust these to the center by center crossbar spread. There's a little hole in the center right here. Just get the spread from there to the one in the front, and get that all centered up before you get it put up on the vehicle. It'll make it a lot easier for installation, and real quick, because then all you'll need to do is take your U-bolt, place two washers on it, and two wing nuts, slide it up underneath, place one washer, one wing nut on each of those slots, and tighten it down. Once you got it tightened down, take the cover .. Notice the one side with the two little fins coming off it with the little square in the middle That's going to fit over the flange that's sticking out on the one side. more

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. Now, it's going to be part number TH859. This basket is going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches in the middle, and with a sturdy steel construction, it's going to offer a 150-pound weight capacity. Now as you can see, we've already got the front feet in place and around our crossbar. If you choose to place it on your crossbars, you need to make sure that before you place it on here that you adjust your feet because it's going to make for a whole lot easier installation instead of trying to adjust them once you get it up on your crossbars. Once you have those adjusted and in place, you can then very easily take your U-bolt, place 2 washers on each one, then place your 2 thumb screws just barely started on. Then, we'll take, place it underneath the crossbar and set it into place, placing a washer and a thumb screw over the top of each bracket. more

Today on our 2011 Lexus 450H, we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista Rooftop-Mounted Cargo Basket. It's going to be part number SR9035. This cargo basket's going to be 44 inches long, 39 and 1/8 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and with its sturdy, steel construction it's going to offer a 110-pound weight capacity. As you can see, we already got our feet in place on the bottom for the front crossbar and on the back passenger side. Let's go ahead and place it on the other side so you can see what it is going to look like and how it's assembled. You'll first need to make sure that your spacers that rest in between your rack and your crossbars fit in place. Now this will fit most all of your roof rack systems, whether you have square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, even your factory crossbars or arrow type like you see here today. Take your metal bracket with the two holes in either side. more

Today on our 2015 Ford Edge we're going to be doing a test of the SportRack Vista Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. This SportRack Vista is going to measure 44" long, 39 1/8" wide, have a depth of about 6", and with its sturdy steel construction it's going to offer 110 pound weight capacity. As you can see we've already got two of our front feet in place as well as the rear passenger side and we're going to show you how that driver side rear goes on now. First thing you're going to want to do is make sure that you have your spacer in between your basket and your crossbar. Note that this basket will fit your elliptical crossbars as well as your aero type bars, square bars, and even your factory roof systems. Right now we got it on round bars so let's go ahead and place the bracket over the top of the spacer, take your U shape bolt, bring it up underneath of your crossbars, into the slots on the spacer, and through the metal bracket on top. more

Today, on our 2015 Ford Edge Titanium, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon rooftop mounted cargo basket. This cargo basket is going to be part number TH859. It's going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches and with its study steel construction, is going to offer that 150 pound weight capacity. As you can see, we've already got the two front feet in place, up here, as well as the driver's side rear. We're going to show you how to place this one on the back passenger side. One note that I'm going to make or a little tech tip is going to be, before you get it up on the vehicle, get your crossbars spread and adjust these with Allen keys, the metal brackets here, before you get them in place on top of the vehicle. So, go ahead and lay it upside down on your table or a flat surface floor or whatever and measure them out from the center, there'll be a circle drilled out, and measure that to be the distance of whatever your crossbar spread is. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop-Mounted Cargo Basket. Now this cargo basket's going to be part number TH859. It's going to measure 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, and have a depth of 6 inches. With its sturdy steel construction, it's going to have a 150-pound weight capacity. With its 150-pound weight capacity, you just need to make sure that your roof can support that just by checking your vehicle's owner manual before you get started. Now, with this, it's going to be sitting up on top of our Thule Aero Blades, and you're going to need to measure out your feet so using an Allen tool or Allen key, go ahead and loosen those up before you place it up on top, and measure from one side to the other to get your cross-bar spread. Then space those out and tighten them back down to that cross-bar spread so when you put it on, it makes for an easy installation. more

As you can see, we do have it up on our top of our Thule Arrow Blade Roof Rack System, and I have the 2 feet in front as well as one in the back in place. We're going to show you how to place that last one on on this back corner passenger side here. First thing you'll want to do is take you U shape bolt, placing 2 washers on and just starting your 2 wing nuts like so. Place one washer underneath of each wing nut and slide it underneath of your bar, bringing it up on top of the plate, and sliding it into place. more

This cargo basket is going to be part number TH859 and it's going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches and with its sturdy steel construction is going to have that 150-pound weight capacity. Now, with the roof rack itself, it has 165, so 15 more pounds or so on top, you'll be all right. Up top, you can see that we already have three of our feet in place. We have the two front ones and then the rear driver's side as well. We're going to show you how to put on this last plate and all the brackets that hold it securely to your roof rack system. One thing to note is before you put it in place, you're going to need to adjust these using the tool provided to your crossbar spread. This crossbar spread particularly for this vehicle was 31.5 inches. more

As you can see we have it already mostly in place up on top of our Thule Arrow Blade Edge roof rack. This cargo basket is going to be a sturdy steel construction with a hundred and fifty pound weight capacity measuring forty nine inches long, forty inches wide and have a depth of six inches. We're going to show you how to place on this last foot since they all go in the same way and one thing to note before you get it up here on your vehicle, is measure your center to center crossbar spread and adjust your brackets before you put it up on the vehicle. That will make it a lot easier when it comes to installation. Once you have it up and in place, you're then going to take your u shaped bolt with your two washers and two wing nuts. Place one washer on each side, bring it up underneath of your cross bar and lay one washer and one nut on each side of the bracket. more

It does also have the option of putting in an extension, which would be part number TH8591. If you look on the basket, you can see that we already have our feet in place and three of them installed. With these feet and spacers, the key to that is to space them out before you put the rack on your vehicle. First things first, get a tape measure and get the measurement from center to center, so your center to center of your crossbars, and then space out those beforehand. more
