Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 Ford Escape, we're gonna be test fitting the glacier cable snow tire chains, part number PW2029C. Now when choosing tire chains for your vehicle, one thing you have to consider is how often am I gonna use these chains. And these chains in particular are gonna be good for the occasional use. Think of situations where snow and ice don't happen that often so it's just something that you're not necessarily too concerned about but you're glad you have them in your vehicle.And the way these work is they have these cross cables that have these rollers around them and that, coupled with the ladder pattern design, that's gonna help with effective starts and stops and give you good and decent traction in light snow and ice situations. Also with this roller style, it's gonna provide a much smoother ride in those conditions as well. These chains do meet all Department of Transportation regulations and also work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2015 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Escape, we're going to review and install the Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains, part #PWPLC-1142 on tire size 235-50R18. Now, when installing your tire chains for the first time, we recommend you do it in a controlled environment as it can be a little cumbersome the first couple of times. Here's what our tire chains look like once they're installed. This tire chain is designed for highway use and non-offroad applications. Our hardened square steel D-links are meant for digging into those snow-packed and ice-covered condition roads. These tire chains will work both front and rear wheel drive applications and are SAE Class S approved. Now let's go ahead and show you how to install them.
