Best 2016 Subaru Legacy Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today, we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for a 2016 Subaru Legacy Here on your right, we're gonna have the Curt, here on your left, we're going to have the Tekonsha. Of these two two wiring harnesses, if I was going to put it on my vehicle, or if I had a Legacy and I was gonna put it on, I'd go with Tekonsha for a couple reasons. One, Tekonsha is very well known. it's been known to hold up very well. The biggest thing is our converter box, converter box, which both of them have, the converter box is what is going to protect your factory wiring on the vehicle from backfeed, if there is a wiring issue on the trailer. The difference between the two converter boxes is, notice on our Tekonsha, all the wires come in one end, they're gonna connect to a circuit board inside of this box. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Subaru Legacy- Video
Today on our 2016 Subaru Legacy, we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-1 Connector Assembly with Upgraded Circuit Protector Module Light. Part number 118671. The first thing that we're going to want to do in order to install our trailer wiring is to pop our trunk. If your vehicle is equipped with these cargo nets, you want to unhook them on either side and lay them out of your way. Now, we'll want to remove this trim panel piece that's above our bumper. To do that, start to unscrew the cargo net hooks. One on either side. more
