Curt 5th Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Ram 2500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt 5th Wheel or Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness, part number C56000. Here's what our 5th wheel and gooseneck wiring looks like when it's fully installed. It's going to give us a 7-way socket at the back of our truck, so that way when we're towing with a 5th wheel or a gooseneck, we'll have our connector right here.It does come with a spring-loaded weatherproof door to keep out some of the moisture and help corrosion from building up on the inside of our socket. Now, not only is this going to give you all the required lights on your trailer such as your stoplights, clearance lights, and your turn signals, now it's also going to give you all the functions of a 7-way, including your brake controller. That is, if the factory 7-way on your vehicle is connected that way as well.Now the way we're going to install this is there's going to be a T connector that goes between our factory 7-way and the back of our bumper, and it's going to run up to here. Our harness does come with a 10 foot lead, so there's plenty of wire to run it and most applications where you put it in the back of the bed here.One of the nice features of our harness here is that it does come preinstalled with wire alum across the entire length of our wire, helping protect it from the elements or anything else. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Today, on our 2016 Ram 2,500, we'll be having a look at and installing the Hopkins Endurance fifth wheel gooseneck, 90-degree wiring harness with a seven-pole plug, part number 41157. Here's what our seven-way connector looks like installed. As you can see, it's readily accessible and easy for us to operate. Our door opens more than 180 degrees, making it really easy to plug in to your trailer. We have this nice foam gasket seal right here to keep the elements out of the connector, making sure we don't have any corrosion buildup on our terminals inside. We also have this nice latch here to help hold your seven-way plug into the connector when you're hooked up to your trailer. This will give us all the functions we need in order to tow our gooseneck or fifth wheel trail without having a cable draped over the tailgate, plugged into the factory connector on the bumper. more

Best 2016 Ram 2500 Gooseneck and 5Th Wheel Wiring Options- Video
Today in our 2016 RAM 2500 we'll be looking at our best fifth wheel and gooseneck wiring options. Today we're looking at three fifth wheel and gooseneck wiring options. All three of these will give you a 7-pole connector in the bed of your truck to easily attach your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer to so you don't have to worry about having a cable reach down over your tailgate down into your bumper where your factory 7-way is. On the left we have the Hopkins Endurance, part number 41157. In the middle we have the Bargman, part number 50-97-410. Following off to the right we have the Tow-Ready, part number 20110. All three of our harnesses are a little bit different as far as cable length goes. more

Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 2500, we will be installing the Tow Ready fifth wheel or gooseneck wiring harness, provide us with a 7-pole connection, part number 20110. Here's what our kit consists of. First off, we have our 7-pole connector here, which we'll install on the bed of our truck, and this will allow us to hook up our gooseneck or our fifth wheel wiring so we don't have to have wires draping down over our tailgate, hooking up underneath our vehicle. It installs with 4 self tapping screws, which are provided. We have a couple zip ties to secure our wiring. Here's the connector end which will go to our new 7-pole. Then right here, we have a T connection, where we'll connect to our factory 7-pole and then go to the factory wiring. more

Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ram 2500 PK11893-11932- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 2500, we're going to show you how to install the Pollak 5th Wheel or Gooseneck T-connector with 7-Pole Trailer Connector. Part number is PK11893-11932. Now we'll plug in our trailer simulator here and the first thing once we put it all the way in, we want to see this first bottom left-hand side light come on indicating we've got 12 volt power. All right, that works out fine. Let's go ahead and start testing our other functions. We can do our left blinker, should have a nice flashing signal. more
