Here in the center we're going to have the CURT, part number C56510. Here on your right we're going to have the Tekonsha, part number 118384.First thing you need to determine is if you have a factory tow package with a seven-way plug or not. If you have a factory tow package with a seven-way plug, this Tekonsha right here is going to plug directly in the back of that seven-way plug and then plug into your existing wiring. If you don't have a factory tow package, you're going to look for plugs like this. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Today we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 41165 on a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado, this harness also applies to the GMC Canyon. We are underneath the vehicle now. We are going to go ahead and point out where the wiring harness is located. You can see where the spare tire is located, directly to the left of that, at the merging of the cross member and the frame, you can see the wiring connectors here. The first thing we want to do is go ahead and disconnect these two pieces. You can see there is a little tab here. Go ahead and push that in and pull the two connectors apart. more
