CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the Cipa Dual View Clip-on Towing Mirror on our 2016 GMC Sierra. Whenever you're towing a trailer with your Sierra, it's going to be important that you can see behind you and keep an eye on your trailer. But changing lanes may be an issue, because as soon as I step away, you're going to lose track of me in the factory mirror.But that's where our towing mirrors going to come in. It's going to give us a much wider field of view so we can get down the highway, change lanes and everyone around us can be safe. Not to mention, it's going to help parking your trailer, whether you're just parking it at home or pulling up to the campgrounds, that extended field of view is going to help out a lot.Now one thing that's really going to set our Cipa mirror apart from others, is the fact that it is going to have a dual view design to it. The larger mirror here is going to give us a really accurate depiction of what's directly behind us. more

Now whenever you're towing a trailer with your Sierra, it's going to be nice to be able to see everything. And here you can see me in the factory mirror at the back of my trailer, but if I step away, you're going to lose track of me.Well, that's where our towing mirror is going to help out. It's going to give us a much wider field of view, so we can get down the highway or down the road safely, and if we need to change lanes, it's going to prevent us from sticking our head out of the window and having to look back. It's going to be a lot easier parking your trailer or even pulling up to the campground.Our Mirror's going to be fully adjustable. It's going to have a full 360 degrees of adjustment. more

CIPA Clamp On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Bar Clamp-On Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer, camper, or boat. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not so much the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to adjust it to that horizontal position you have that option. It can also be adjusted to most angles. more
