The BeDrock HD is a solid option as far as ladder racks for the back of your F-150. Especially since this guy's the short bed crew cab, you're pretty limited as far as your cargo area, so this will allow you to take advantage of the space above your bed for those bigger bulkier items. The BedRock system is rated for up to 300 pounds on road and up to 180 pounds off road. The bars themselves are 78 inches long, about three inches wide and an inch and a half tall. So that's gonna work for your kayak carriers, cargo boxes and bike racks, just about any rooftop accessory that uses clamp hooks. more

The Erickson Ladder Rack is a nice lightweight aluminum rack that's gonna give you a lot of capacity. It's rated up to 800 pounds, so it'll handle those bigger bulkier loads like lumber, possibly PVC pipe or longer things that wouldn't fit into your short box Ford. Essentially, this is gonna be more value minded and very utility 'cause it's not very pretty or you know, appealing as far as the look, but it does have a lot of capacity. Our ladder rack has a 800 pound capacity, so that's gonna work really well for your heavier loads. Your color options are only gonna be this grayish silver color, which looks good with the Tacoma I'm working with today. But if you have other colors, it's a matter of opinion. Hey neighbors, this is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima BedRock HD on the back of our 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Let's check it out. The BedRock HD is actually a really solid system for the bed of your truck. When you're not loaded, it's gonna be minimally invasive to your rear window, so you'll be able to see pretty well without having any type of blockage from the bars unloaded. However, loaded, it helps you get a lot more storage space out of the bed of your truck. And if you're using it for transporting ladders or other things, we have integrated hooks on the end, well, spaces for the hooks, to use the Yakima HD hook strap that will clamp in one side and the other and you'd be able to ratchet it down. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat IBEX Truck Bed Rack and seeing how it fits on our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500. So the IBEX is going to be somewhat adjustable giving you in the initial setup process when you get it out of the box, two height settings, the low profile which we have it in here, or the regular height which would be pretty much level with the roof of your vehicle. Personally on this truck, I don't love the low profile look. If you're going to be mounting up something like a tent it is a little bit more helpful to have it closer to the ground, but you are gonna be doing things like sacrificing that back window quite a bit and it just makes it harder to access your truck bed underneath. more

This is gonna be designed for the short bed version of the Tacoma but you can also get one for the longer bed version. Both of them are gonna be designed for the mid-size truck though and works with our Tacoma whether we have the utility track rails on the inside or don't have those and just need a clamp around mount, let's check it out. So this is gonna be a really solid rack from Kuat. Kuat makes a great product with all of our bike racks and everything, and this is no different. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima Bedrock HD Truck Bed Rack on our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. It's gonna be a great way for you to get some larger accessories where you need 'em to go, but still make them accessible to you and not get them up so high that you can't reach them while still leaving you space in your bed to carry more gear so let's check it out. Right now we have this system working with our 78 inch crossbars, which gives us a good amount of room here, but it's still not gonna be enough that it exceeds the overall width of the vehicle. It stays within the mirrors, so as long as you know that your mirrors are getting clear wherever you're going through, the crossbars are clear as well. Taking a closer look at those crossbars, they are heavy duty, they are rated for off-road use as well. more

This can be a good option for you if you want a little bit more accessibility from your truck bed. Maybe you have it already full up. In the case of our Frontier, we don't actually have a hitch so if we want to get more accessories and things loaded up, this is actually gonna be a really good solution for us. This is gonna be a really nice solution for you if you want to get some larger items up on the top of your bed, still leaving room for the things inside, but still having access to those items that you wanna put on there. With a weight capacity on road of 300 pounds and an off-road capacity of 180 pounds, you really do have a good amount of options, especially with the bars that we have here. So let's take a closer look at how it works. Our crossbars are HD, which means they are heavy duty and they're really big and rugged. Hi everyone. Aiden here at eTrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Outpost HD truck bed rack and seeing how it installs on our 2022 Ford Maverick. This is going to be a mid height rack with a fixed mounting point. So it's a fixed height, no adjusting it but it's gonna make it a really nice height for something like a rooftop tent, maybe a basket or a platform because it sits just below the cab, so not too tall. We're not adding a lot of height to our vehicle but it still does sit elevated from the truck bed. more
