Today, we have a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, and we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT Above Bed OEM Puck System Adapter Rails for your industry standard fifth wheel hitches. These adapter rails are designed to turn your OEM puck system, if you get a new truck into the industry standard rails that you would typically have in your older vehicle. If you have a fifth wheel hitch already, that's where this is gonna come into play because it's gonna drop into one of the three locations just like it would in those industry standard rails. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at eTrailer and today, we're taking a look at the Curt Adaptor Rails for 5th Wheels. Now, this is gonna work for the OEM prep package that we have here on our 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500. The puck system or OEM prep package, as they call it that a lot of newer trucks are seeing are really nice because you can simply drop in a 5th Wheel, but, if you already have a 5th Wheel and it's not compatible, it's normally in a rail system. Well, you can pick up this adapter to make that fifth wheel head work. Now, these are standard rails as far as the industry goes so it's gonna work with most 5th Wheel heads. The only one that really has compatibility issues, is gonna be the BMW Sliding Companion and that's just because of the clearance as it slides. more

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, on our 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at the Demco Hijacker 5th wheel Autoslide system for your OEM puck system. This system's gonna be for you if you have the OEM puck system and you have a short-bed. Basically, what happens is with the short-beds, as you start turning, a lot of the ones you're gonna have to like manually release so you can slide it back. So, you're not gonna have any damage happening to the cab of your truck. With this one, as it starts to rotate, it's gonna slide back automatically to prevent any contact from happening. more

Hi there, Silverado owners. Today in your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're going to be installing B&W's Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch. In order to complete the installation we'll be using B&W's Turnoverball Gooseneck Custom Installation Kit for Chevy and GMC.This gooseneck hitch is going to be hidden underneath the bed of your truck. The underbed rail design keeps most of the components under the bed; this way, you can maximize the amount of space in the bed of your truck when you don't want to haul a gooseneck trailer. But when you're ready, you can simply throw your ball in, and you're ready to go.To ensure you don't lose your ball when not in use, it stores flush by simply flipping it over and dropping it back down. Speaker 1: So today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 we're going to be taking a look at the Demco 5th wheel rail adapter for Chevy and GMC OEM 5th wheel towing prep package, part# DM6194. Here's what our Demco 5th wheel's going to look like once we have it installed. It's going to provide us with above-the-bed rails so we can use a standard 5th wheel. It's going to lock into our OEM prep package so we can use a standard 5th wheel instead of having to buy a separate one to work with the prep package. Now the really nice thing about this is it is going to be one solid piece. We're not going to have to assemble anything, and it's going to have really solid welds all the way around so it's going to be really strong.The only thing we're going to have to do is put in a single wing nut. more

Bulldog Winch Power Shut-Off Switch Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD we'll be installing a pair of Bulldog winch power shut off switches with keys, part number BDW20039. With our keys in, our vehicle will start. When we want to disconnect our batteries, so when we're towing it behind our RV, we don't have to worry about the batteries being run down with the key left in the ignition to have the steering wheel unlocked. We just turn our key, remove it and our batteries are shut off. These are a perfect application for when you want to flat tow your 2016 Chevy Silverado. First thing we need to do is disconnect our negative battery terminals on both of our batteries here. With our battery cable disconnected her, I'll go ahead and set it aside and go disconnect the other battery. more

DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevy Silverado 3500 CrewCab, we'll be installing the DZ truck-bed auxiliary tank, part number DZ91752X in conjunction with the DZ connector kit of auxiliary tank, part number Dz97960. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and put our tank into position. We'll be putting it in the truck bed up against the bulk head near the cab. If you are using this tank as an auxiliary to pump into another piece of equipment, you would simply center it in the bed and secure it. However, we'll be using it as a transfer tank. We'll first go ahead and remove the auxiliary tank plug. For this application, we'll be using a large handled shut off valve. A couple of these fittings we're purchased at our local hardware store. more
