Yakima Fairing Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video

Yakima Fairing Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, we'll be test fitting the 38 inch Fairing for Yakima roof rack, part number Y07047. With our Yakima rail grab roof system already installed on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our Fairing directly in front of the front load bar. We'll remove the wing nut, take out the carriage bolt, and we'll bring a clamp around our front bar. We'll do this for the next one over as well. We'll replace our carriage bolt, and loosely attach our wing nut. Now we can move to the drivers side. We'll place the farthest clamp from us around our front load bar, remove the wing nut and the carriage bolt on the clamp closest to us, bring it around our front load bar, replace the carriage bolt, then the wing nut. We'll check to make sure we have our Fairing centered. Once we've got it centered, we'll tighten the wing nuts on the outside clamps, and that will complete today's test fit of the 38 inch Fairing for Yakima roof racks, part number Y07047 on our 2014 Jeep Patriot. more

Roadmaster Even Brake 2nd Vehicle Kit Installation - 2014 Jeep Patriot

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, we'll be installing the Road Master even brake second vehicle kit, part number RM-98400. Now to begin with, this vehicle already has a base plate kit installed on it, as well as the bracket to mount our breakaway switch. The first thing we're going to to is we need to mount our breakaway switch to the bracket on the base plate. To do this, we'll use the bolt and the nut that's supplied with the kit. You can see that there's a two-prong plug off the end of it. We'll then need to go ahead and connect the long black wire that has the same connectors on it. We'll need to route this wire into the vehicle's cab so it can be plugged into the transponder. more
