Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be test fitting the Thule Raceway Pro hatch or truck mounted bike rack, part number TH9001PRO. As you can see we already have a bike rack installed on there, let's go ahead and get a little bit closer and show you some of the features. As you can see there are three points of contacts on the bike frame. You have the two straps on top and the anti-sway strap on the side. This keeps it from going back and forth and possibly hitting the other bike that you have installed on it. Let's go ahead and take this off. It's always a good idea to reattach your straps so they're not flapping around while you're driving or possibly losing them while you're driving. Next I'm going to give you a measurement about how far this sticks out from the back of your vehicle so you know that. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Archway 2 bike carrier. Part number TH9009XT. This is for both trunks and hatches. As you can see we already have a bike on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look at some of the features. First off, I'd like to point out, this has 3 points of contact with your bike frame. You have 2 straps up here, and 1 anti-sway strap down here, which keeps the bike from gong back and forth and possibly bumping into the bike you have in front of it, or even into the car if it we're close enough. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today in our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Rack's over the top 2 bike rack, part number HRF2. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look at some of the features. Here we have 3 points of contact to the bike's frame. We have the 2 straps on top, plus an anti-sway strap on the side here, which keeps it moving back and forth, possibly hitting the vehicle or the bike in front of it. Let's go ahead and take it off. Now it's always good practice to reinstall your straps after you've taken them off, just so their not flapping around while you drive, and so you don't lose them while you drive. Now I'd like to give you a measurement to give you the distance from the back of of the hatch, how much is added to it. more
