Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2016 Lexus NX. So up top here we're going to have our Draw-Tite, that's going to be a Class III. In the middle we're going to have our Curt Class III, and then finally on the bottom we're going to have our Curt Class II. Now since our NX Lexus has two different models, they have the 200 Turbo, and the 300 Hybrid you do want to go over which one of these is going to fit each one.Now all three of these are going to fit the Turbo model, but the two Curts are going to fit the Hybrid models. Now right away just looking at our hitches we are going to notice some major differences. Now both of our Class IIIs are going to give us a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, and both of them do have a reinforced collar. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Lexus NX 300h- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2017 Lexus NX-300H, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III trailer hitch receiver, part number C13337.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. The first thing you'll notice about this hitch is that we have plenty of clearance around our receiver opening, making this an ideal hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers. You'll find our industry-standard 5/8" diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitching mounted accessories. You can pick up a pin and clip on our website, as part number PZ3.Welded onto the bottom of our receiver and the frame of our hitch you'll find our plates, which have our safety chain loops to attach the safety chains from our trailer. Fairly decent sized openings, so we shouldn't have much problem, if any at all, hooking on the chains. Welded onto the back of our receiver we have this nice collar here to help give us a nice finished look and to increase the strength of the receiver.This hitch features a 525 pound max tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3,500 pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount it can pull. more
