etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Chevy Blazer. We're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Class 3 two-inch hitch receiver. This hitch is gonna be installed underneath, so it's gonna mount up behind your bumper. And what's nice about it is that it's going to utilize the opening that your vehicle comes with so when you're not using your hitch, you can throw this cover back on and you won't even see it. We're gonna have a two-inch by two-inch opening, which is gonna accept a lot of different accessories to haul bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even pull a small trailer. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Rob: Hey everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. Now, I know you may be wondering where the hitch is, and that's a really nice thing about the Blazer and our Curt hitch. When we're not using it, we're not even going to be able to tell it's there, but if we come down to the bottom, and you turn these two tabs, then we can pull it out and that's going to expose our hitch. That way we can slide that really clean, almost OEM look and we're not telling, but our hitch available for us when we need to.Now, our hitch is going to be a class three which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. That's going to have the widest variety when it comes to options for accessories we can mount up. more

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. Now you might be wondering where the hitch is. In fact, our hitch is actually already installed. And because we have this trap door here on the back of our Blazer, we're not going to see it at all unless we're using it. And come down to the bottom, loosen up the two turn knobs, pull that panel out and have extremely easy access to our hitch right here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 1996 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Today on our 1996 Chevy Trailblazer we'll be installing the Hidden Hitch, part number 90183. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. In the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 14-3/4 inches. Now we'll go ahead with installation. Before we begin our install, we'll first go ahead and point out our attachment points. We'll have a total of six attachment points, three on each side. These attachment points will be predrilled holes in the frame by the manufacturer. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 1996 Chevrolet Blazer c13020- Video
Today on our 1996 Chevy Blazer, we're going to install a curt hitch part number C13020. Each process we do here on the driver side is going to be repeated identically on the passenger side. A total of six attachment points, three on each sides. Our fasteners will be our 1/2" carriage bolt and block along with a 1/2 plunge knot because this vehicle doesnt have a spare tire, we're ready to go ahead and put our hitch directly into position. We'll use our bolt and block to go from inside to frame rail out to hold into position once we get into place.Now, it's a good time to get an extra set of hands that will hold the hitch into place while installing your fasteners. We'll install each fasteners finger tight until we get them all in place. more
