Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2022 Jeep Renegade- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2022 Jeep Renegade. Adding trailer wiring to your vehicle is a great addition to adding a hitch because if you ever plan on pulling a trailer or have accessories that light up, you're going to want a 4-pole. And this is going to allow you to have your running lights, your turn signals, and brake lights. And all of this runs into a module that will keep it protected from any back feed. It also plugs in directly to the factory style plug, so there's really no cutting on that end. You will have to extend a power wire that's going to run up to your battery and attach that to 12 volt power. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Renegade, we're going to be installing Curt's T-connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C56274. This wiring harness is going to provide you with a four pole flat trailer connector that'll allow you to get all of your necessary lighting back on your trailer. This will include your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, so you'll be DOT compliant in all states.The control box here plugs inline to both your left and right side tail lamps, receives the signals, and the control box itself then sends it to our four pole flat connector. What's great about this is that it's protecting our vehicle because the output's only coming from our control box and not from our tail lamp circuits. The control box has its own fuse and power cable that's run up to the battery, so it's completely self-sufficient. When you're ready to sue your cable, you simply drape it over the back, make sure to avoid the latch for your lift gate, close your lift gate. more

It's going to give you all the proper lighting functions for your trailer. It's going to give you your ground, your power wire, your right turn, left turn, brakes, and running lights. It's got an included dust cap, it's attached. It's going to help keep the moisture off of all of your connections. Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is C56274. When you're ready to use your trailer, you pull up your cover, take your wire out. You're going to lay it over the sill plate here across the weather strip which is going to help hold it in place. Just make sure you stay away from the center where the latch is going to be. You just close your hatch over top of it, then you hitch it up to your trailer. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Jeep Renegade- Video
Today we're going to be reviewing and installing the T1 vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118651 on our 2016 Jeep Renegade. All you do is open your trunk, open your little cargo hatch here, then right underneath there in the spare tire area where we keep this. You can run it right out over here, which is perfect. You can plug it into your trailer, but you want to be sure to avoid this area so it doesn't get pinched or anything, and could damage it and cause you some problems. If you keep it out over here, it should be nice and protected and form perfectly into this weather strip when you close the trunk going down the road. Then whenever you're done, all you do is take it, tuck it right back in there. Over here we've got the entire wiring harness, the T connector for the passenger side, T connector that goes behind the driver's side tail light, then here's the module that's in there. more
