Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ford Mustang- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Mustang, we're gonna be taking a look at and show you how to install the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Harness with four-pole flat trailer connector.This is what our wiring is gonna look like when it is installed. This wiring can be installed to where it remains inside the vehicle and pulled out when needed, or outside the vehicle, how we have it here.It's gonna give us all of our proper lighting functions to safely tow a trailer, both turn signals, our running lights and our brake lights. It's gonna have an included dust cap to help cover our connection points. It's gonna help keep any dirt and debris from getting inside. This wiring kit is also going to have a converter box. What the converter box does is it protects your factory wiring on your vehicle from any back feed from the trailer if the trailer wiring has an issue. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ford Mustang- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Mustang, we're going to review and install the Two Ready T1 Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part number 118487. Now we'll go ahead and review and show you the operation of our 4-flat trailer connector. Our trailer connector gets stored inside down in the spare tire well. We'll simply take the 4-flat connector out, run it out over the threshold, staying away from the truck latches pinching it off in the latch, can't harm the wire. However, the weather stripping is thick enough that we can simply close the trunk on it. Then, we'll run the 4-flat connector down to our hitch or address. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Ford Mustang- Video
Today on our 2013 Ford Mustang we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-One vehicle wiring harness 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118487. Now to begin our install we'll first go ahead and open up the rear trunk. With this application we're working is a convertible. We're going to go ahead and remove the spare tire cover and we'll just set it aside. Next we're going to remove the rear threshold. To remove the threshold we'll also need to remove the fasteners that hold the threshold in place. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Ford Mustang C56088- Video
Today in our 2013 Ford Mustang, we'll be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Connector, part number C56088. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear trunk and locate the fasteners that secure the rear threshold. There is a total of four fasteners, two on each side. Here's the top. We've got a plastic wing nut fastener that we'll screw off. We'll use our interior trip nail 00:00:27 tool, or a flat blade screwdriver, to get underneath the fasteners and pop them free. Here at the bottom we've got a pushpin fastener. Now, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the fastener side. Then, we'll pull up on the threshold to release the fasteners underneath so we can slide it out of the way. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Ford Mustang- Video
Today, on our 2004 Ford Mustang, we'll be installing the tow ready T1 connector trailer wiring, part number 118326. To begin with, we'll need to raise the trunk lid on the vehicle. Then we'll need to remove 2 plastic nuts, one on each side, just behind where the tail lights are. With this plastic nut removed, we can go ahead and pull back the inner trunk liner, exposing the wiring that we'll be connecting with. Now, on the driver's side, we'll be connecting with the side that has the yellow wire in the bundle. We'll go ahead and disconnect the wiring here, and put our T-connection in place. Make sure when you pull apart the clips that you do not pull too hard, because they can break very easily. Now, on this side, we'll need to go ahead and connect our ground wire. To do this, we use a self tapping screw, and we'll find an area of sheet metal that's been doubled up. We want to make sure that there's nothing behind the sheet metal that could be damaged. Then, the green wire with the other 2 connectors will be routed all the way over to the passenger side. We can work the wires underneath the rear trunk lining piece, just right here by the threshold area. Then we'll access the wiring connection over here. We'll repeat the same process as we did on the driver's side, except on this side there will not be a ground wire that we will install. Now, with the connections made, we'll go ahead and put the interior trim back in. more
