Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we are going to be taking a look and installing a Curt universal trailer wiring on a 2018 Ford EcoSport. Now, this isn't a plug and play per se, so there's a little bit of splicing involved, but I'm gonna show you how to do it. Here, we have our four-pole, hanging off from its dust cap on our hitch. Now, this is a necessity if you plan on ever towing a trailer. And what this does, this is gonna send the signals from your vehicle, whether it be your running lights, your brake lights, or turn signals and transmit them to your trailer. more

Rob: Hey everybody Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt trailer wiring harness on our 2018 Ford EcoSport. Now our Curt wiring harness is going to provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector, which is going to be one of the most common trailer connectors. So we can have all the required lights to get down the road safely and legally. It's going to give us our tail lights turn signals and our stoplights.Now our trailer wiring is designed to stay on the inside until we're ready to use it. But whenever we do want to use it, we just simply open up the rear door. more
