Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit Installation - 2010 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2010 Ford Explorer, we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install, the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit with the removable arms. The part number is 4405-1. Here's what the base plate looks like once we get it installed. As you can see, it's going to give us our mounting location right up front here whether we're using a quick disconnect or a direct bolt-on tow bar. We'll have those here to where we can get to them when we need them. The nice thing about this is, it does have the detachable arm, so we can remove these when not in use. With this application, we did leave that little lower lip on. more
