Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Volvo XC60- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Volvo XC60, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class 3 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76194.The nice thing about it is that that cross tube's going to be completely behind the bumper and al we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out of the bottom. Now it is a class 3 hitch which means that it's going to give us that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, and we're going to have a wide variety of options available. You have all sorts of different kinds of accessories that we can mount up.Now the way we're going to mount all our accessories is using the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept standard 5/8 pin and clip and while these aren't included in the kit, you can pick them up here at e-trailer.com or a variety of locking devices to keep your accessories safe. Now you'll notice that the Draw-Tite has a secondary toward the back of the receiver here. That's going to be used exclusively for the J pin stabilization device, which is going to be an anti-rattle device that's made specifically for this kind of hitch, and you can pick one of those up here at etrailer.com.As far as the safety chain connection points go, we're going to have a loop style, but they're going to be on either side of our receiver tube which is going to be nice because they're not going to interfere no matter really what size hook we have. more
