Hey everyone. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch receiver here on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. And I do like the looks of it. It has a hidden design meaning the cross tube is actually tucked up behind the bumper here. And the only thing we actually can see is the receiver tube. That's also gonna have a nice hammered powder coated finish which is gonna help with blending with the vehicle well, that also helps protect the hitch from rest over time being that it is on the underside of the vehicle. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Toyota Prius V, we're going to be having a look at our best trailer hitch options. We have four different hitches for you here today. Up top we have our Draw-Tite Class 1 hitch which is visible underneath the vehicle. Next we have a CURT Class 1 hitch, also visible underneath the vehicle. Then we have an EcoHitch Class 3 hitch which is not visible underneath the vehicle, followed by a Draw-Tite Class 1 hitch which will not be visible underneath the vehicle.First we'll give you a brief summary about the differences between our hitches. In regards to capacity, we found that the EcoHitch here was the winner in this category because it does have the highest capacities of our four hitches. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Toyota Prius V - Curt

Today on this 2014 Toyota Prius V, we're going to install part number C11276 from Curt. This is the Curt class 1 1 1/4 receive hitch. This is wht the hitch looks like once installed on the Prius. Next we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 12 inches. From center hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper is about 4 3/8 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is get our vehicle ready to install the hitch. more
