Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota Prius - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2010 Toyota Prius, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Draw-tite Sportframe Class 1 custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part #: 24847. This is what your draw-tite class 1 receiver hitch is going to look like once it's installed. You're going to have that nice sleek look across the back side of the vehicle with the cross bars going back at an angle attaching to your preexisting hole for your exhaust hanger and your tow hook. Here it's going to be a fully welded construction with a gusset just sitting right underneath the bumper. You're going to have an inch and a half by inch and a half receiver tube here with half inch pinhole and your chains tied down on either side. Keep in mind that with your class 1 receiver hitch that you are going to be limited in your accessories that you do carry. You're only going to be able to carry 200 pounds of tongue weight and up to 2000 pounds of towing weight. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota Prius - Curt- Video
Today, on our Toyota Prius, we're going to install Part #C11276 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when it is installed on the car. Next, we will give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier. The top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 11 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2 inches. Now, we will go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota Prius - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on this 2010 Toyota Prius well be installing the Hidden Hitch, part number 60263. This is what our hitch will look like once its installed. Now well go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is two inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 10 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier. more
