Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options available for the 2008 FJ Cruiser. The most popular we offer is the Hidden Hitch, part number 87412, class three hitch just like to other ones we've got here. Next most popular is going to be our CURT, part number 13367. Finally, our Draw-Tite, part number 75461. Now the first noticeable difference we're really going to see here is going to be the design of the hitch. As you can see, the Hidden Hitch and the Draw-Tite, which are the exact same hitch, they're going to have a long receiver tube that comes out from our main crosstube, whereas with the CURT it's been built in or engineered into the hitch. Today on our 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser well be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87412. Now, before we begin our installation here are a few measurements to help you when selecting accessories such as a drawbar, a bike rack, or Cargo area. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the spare tire is 9 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 19-3/8 inches. Now lets go ahead with our install. Now, to begin our installation well need to drop our exhaust tail pipe down. more

Today on our 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser we'll be installing Draw-Tite hitch, part number75461. Now, before we begin our installation here are a few measurements to helpyou when selecting accessories, such as a drawbar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier.From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the spare tire is 9". Fromthe top of the receiver tube to the ground is 19-3/8". Now let's go ahead with ourinstall. Now to begin our installation, we'll need to drop our exhaust tailpipe down. To do thiswe'll spray some lubricant on the rubber isolator and then remove it using a pry bar.This will allow us to move the tailpipe around in order to secure our fasteners. more

Today on our 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser we'll be installing Curt Hitch, part number13367. Now to begin our installation, we'll need to drop our exhaust tailpipe down. Todo this we'll spray some lubricant on the rubber isolator and then remove it using apry bar. This will allow us to move the tailpipe around in order to secure ourfasteners. Here on the driver's side we'll need to remove the tow loop. With the towhook removed, we'll go ahead and point out our attachment points. more
