etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2017 Ram 1500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2017 Ram 1500. Now if your Ram didn't come with a factory hitch, a lot of times there's gonna be a factory bumper beam that allows you to bolt up a hitch, that's just this small section here. And that's gonna utilize the bumper pole mount and it makes for a really nice hitch here. It sits perfectly well on the bumper, it just slightly extends from it, and it's a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. So when it comes to any accessories, whether it be bike racks, ball mounts, or cargo carriers, you're gonna have tons of options available. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2017 Ram 1500. Here we have your top four hitches for your Ram 1500. Here we're going to have etrailer's Class 3 hitch. This one over here, we're going to have CURT's Class 3 hitch. Here on our rack on the bottom we're going to have Draw-Tite's Class 5. Here on the top we're going to have CURT's Class 5.As far as ease of installation, I'm going to have to give that to the two Class 3 hitches. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 RAM 1500 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the draw tight class five alter frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 41948.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is visible however this is a good sturdy hitch so it's going to fit the look of the truck. It's nice and tucked in underneath the bumpers so you're not going to have to worry about it hitting your legs or shins on it when loading and unloading the vehicle. It's going to be a class five. It's going to be two inch by two inch. This forward hole here is the hitch pin hole. more

This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is visible; however, it is a round tube design, so it's gonna fit with the contour of the vehicle. It does sit nice and flush with the edge of the bumper, so you're not gonna have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when loading and unloading the vehicle.It's gonna be a Class V. It's gonna be 2" x 2". Right here's gonna be your hitch pin hole, it's gonna be 5/8" in diameter. more

Today on our 2017 Ram 1500, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt custom fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver. Offering the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, it's part number is 13333. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like installed, really clean look. You're not adding a lot to the rear of the vehicle, just a lot more capability. This is a class 3 hitch, it's going to work out really well for bike racks, cargo carriers, and of course ball mounts. With it being a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, the class 3 design you're going to have tons of accessories to choose from. more

Today on our 2017 Ram 1500, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the draw tite max Ram custom fit class III trailer hitch receiver. This alters the two inch by two inch opening. It's part number is 75662. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You can see it's going to be about flush with the bumper, gives it a really nice look here at the back. You're not adding a whole cross tube or anything like that. more
