Best 2019 Mazda CX-9 Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2019 Mazda CX-9. Now we're gonna be looking at three of the best options in my personal opinion. Our neighbor today has an inch and a quarter installed on their CX-9, and that's because they already have a bike rack that is an inch and a quarter configuration. But unless you're in that situation, I would highly suggest looking at the two inch. Not only do you get more applications as far as accessories but also you get more weight capacity. Now the three that we have here today are going to be the Curt, the etrailer, and then the Draw-Tite. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Mazda CX-9- Video
Rob: Rob here at trailer.Com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2019 Mazda CX9.Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. It's got a really clean, almost factory appearance to it, because the cross tube is going to be completely hidden behind the bumper and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out.Now it is a class three, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and have the widest variety when it comes to accessories that we can Mount up.We need to make some room inside of our Mazda. Could put a cargo carrier on here and move all the gear to the outside or if you want to hit the trails with some friends on the bikes, could put a bike rack in here.Or if we need to move a trailer, we can put a ball mount in here. But regardless of how or what we're going to be using our hitch for, we're going to be mounting all of our accessories to the hitch pin hole here on the side.Now the hitch is going to accept a standard 5/8ths pin and clip. Now these do not come with the hitch, but you can pick them up etrailer.Com, along with some locking devices and anti-rattle devices to make sure your accessories are secure and they're not going to move around inside the hitch, making a lot of noise.Now if you are going to be towing a trailer, you need a spot to hook up your safety chains. In here we have a plate style welded to the bottom and we've got plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off.Now if you're looking for a hitch for your Mazda, you want to make sure that it's going to be up to the task that you put it to, regardless if it's going to be towing a trailer or carrying some gear in a cargo carrier.So as far as the weight rating goes, our hitch is going to have a 600 pound tongue weight. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Mazda CX-9- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Draw Tite Class Three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2019 Mazda CX-9. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. It's going to have a really clean factory appearance because the cross tube is going to be completely hidden behind the bumper and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out.Since it's a class three, it is going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, so we're going to have the widest variety of options when it comes to accessories. Whether we need to make some room, we can put a cargo carrier back here and move all that gear to the outside. Or if you want to hit the trails with some friends, we could put a bike rack in there and take some bikes with us. Or if we simply just need to move a trailer, maybe go down to the lake with our jet ski, we can put a ball mount in here and do that. more

Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed, the cross tube is going to be completely hidden behind the bumper. So it's going to have that really nice clean factory look and all we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out. Now it is a class II hitch, which means it's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. And it's been more for use with bike racks, cargo carriers, or some of those recreational purposes. Now there are ball mounts that are available, but it is going to be specifically for this hitch. more
