Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Mazda CX-9- Video
Today in our 2013 Mazda CX-9, we'll be having a look at and installing the CURT Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12112. All right. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's tucked up nicely behind our fascia here. So what that means is when we're loading cargo into our hatch area, we don't have to worry about running our shin into the hitch. We have an industry standard 1/2 inch diameter hitch pin hole here, to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories. more

Best 2013 Mazda CX-9 Hitch Options- Video
Today on our 2013 Mazda CX9 we'll be looking at our best hitch options. We have three hitches here today. On the top we have a CURT class three, part number 13575. The middle one here is a Draw-Tite class three; it's part number 75531. Finally on the bottom is a CURT class two, part number C12112. Now you may notice our CURT hitches have a rectangular steel construction, whereas our Draw-Tite hitch here is a round tubular design. Doesn't really make much of a difference there at all. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda CX-9 we'll be installing the Draw-Tite hitch, part number 75531. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we're going to give you a couple measurements. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 4-1/4". From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 14-1/4". more

Today our 2013 Mazda CX-9 we'll be installing the Curt 2 inch Hitch part number 13575. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we're going to give you a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 5 and a half inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 13 and a half inches. Now, I'll go ahead with installation. more
