Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Mazda CX-9- Video
Today on our 2011 Mazda CX9 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Class 2 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12112. So here's what our hitch looks like once you have it installed. Now we are gonna see the cross tube sticking out below the bumper just slightly. And it is a Class 2 Hitch so it's gonna give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. Now it has a nice reinforced collar, not only giving it added strength, but that nice clean, finished look. Our hitch is gonna use a standard half inch pin and clip which are included, which is nice, cuz we're not gonna have anything extra to pick up. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Mazda CX-9 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 13575. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. It is going to sit slightly below the bumper, and we are going to see some of the cross right underneath. Now, it is a class III hitch, so it's going to give us that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, and it has that reinforced collar, giving it added strength and a nice finished look. It's going to utilize a standard 5/8 pin and clip, which are not included but you can pick some up on our website using part number PC3. As far as the safety chain loops go, it's going to be a rolled steel stock style well into the bottom of the receiver tube, and as you can see, we're not going to have too much trouble getting most sized hooks on or off. more

Part number 75531.So here's what our hitch looks like fully installed, and we are gonna see some of the cross tube just right underneath the bumper. Now, this is a class three hitch, so it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and it has that nice reinforced collar.Not only giving it added strength but a nice clean finished look. Now our hitch is gonna use a standard five ace pin and clip. They're not included but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now, the secondary hold toward the rear of our receiver here that's gonna be for the J-Pin stabilization device.Which is gonna be great if any of your accessories don't have a built in anti-rattle. more

Best 2011 Mazda CX-9 Hitch Options- Video
Today on our 2011 Mazda CX9 we'll be looking at our best hitch options. We have three hitches here today. On the top we have a CURT class three, part number 13575. The middle one here is a Draw-Tite class three; it's part number 75531. Finally on the bottom is a CURT class two, part number C12112. Now you may notice our CURT hitches have a rectangular steel construction, whereas our Draw-Tite hitch here is a round tubular design. Doesn't really make much of a difference there at all. more
