Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at our best trailer hitch options for your 2013 Lincoln MKZ. So we're going to have two different hitches here today that we're going to be checking out. The one up top here is gotta be the Curt hitch and this one right here is going to be the Draw-Tite Now, before we get kind of carried away with some of the differences and similarities, I figured it'd be, we're sharing just to throw out there which one I would choose for my own Lincoln and a little bit why. And I think I would definitely lean towards the Curt and really that's for a couple of different reasons. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Lincoln MKZ - Curt- Video
Today on this 2013 Lincoln MKZ we're going to install part number C12091 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the car. Next we'll give you some measurements that'll help you out in selecting some accessories such as a cargo carrier or a bicycle rack. From the center of the hitch pin opening to the very edge of the bumper is about 6 3/8". From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10 1/2". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is go ahead and remove the lower body fascia. more
