Today on this 1996 GMC Jimmy four-door, were going to install part number C13020. This is a current trailer hitch Class III 2-inch Receiver. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on our Jimmy. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as the ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of our hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper only comes out to about 0.75 inches. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground, it comes out to about 15.25 inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more

Today on our 2000 GMC Jimmy, were going to install part number C13300 from Curt.This is what the hitch looks like once install on the vehicle. Next we'll give you some measurements thatll help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From top of receiver opening down to the ground will be about 16 and a quarter inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about two and a half inches.Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing were going to do, were going to loosen up one bar on the drivers side. Its a fender support. We'll go ahead and loosen it up and then just move it out of our way.Next, theyll be two bumper bolts on each side of the frame rail connected with a strap. more
