Today, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to be walking you through the installation on the Draw-Tite Class 5 trailer hitch receiver on our 2013 Ford E350 van.Adding a hitch like this to your van is going to give you a lot of different capabilities for hauling different sized trailers. For a couple instances here, maybe you are a construction worker, you need to haul a large generator to a construction site. Maybe you own a canoe company, you haul a trailer full of canoes, but you want to be able to haul the passengers that are using those canoes. Maybe you're hauling a large trailer that has a lot of band equipment in it and you want to haul the band along too. This hitch is going to allow you and be capable of hauling all those different things.Going to be a Class 5 hitch. more

Today on this 2013 Ford van, we're going to take a look at the best hitch options available. All right, these are our three hitches we have here. First one on top, we have our Ultra Frame from Draw-Tite, part number 41945. Now this is a Class 5 hitch. Next one up is a CURT, part number 14055. This one is a Class 4 hitch. more

All right, today in this 2013 Ford Van E350 we're going to install part number 41906 from Draw-Tite. This is what the hitch looks like once installed in the van. Next we'll go ahead and give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top of the receiver opening down the ground will be about 17 inches. The center of the hitch pin hole is actually past the edge of the bumper. Now I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. Before we start our install we're going to go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up to the frame. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Ford Van - Curt- Video
Today on this 2013 Ford van E350 were going to install part number 14055 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the van. Next well give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as the ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 18 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole from the bumper is about one inch, and the hitch pin hole is further out from the bumper. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more
