Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2018 Ford F150, we're gonna be showing you how to install the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver. Before we get into that though, let's take a couple minutes, check this out, and make sure it's gonna work for you. So right off the bat, you might be wondering, why do we have two receiver tube openings And that's because this CURT hitch is designed to work with the F150s that already have a factory hitch installed. And you're not able to remove this factory hitch because it's all integrated into the bumper. You know, it is a bumper support, more or less. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2018 Ford F150. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it's a nice clean fit. In fact, it doesn't stick out any more past the bumper so I really like the look that it gives you and you have a nice matte black powder coat finish. The cross tube is pretty well hidden under here as well, so really all you see is the receiver tube opening. And this one being a two inch by two inch means that you're gonna have tons of accessories to load up. So whether you're putting a bike rack, a cargo carrier or a ball mount, and this is all gonna be a great option you'll have plenty of options to pick from with that two inch by two inch. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford F150 we're gonna be taking a look at and also showing you how to install the Curt custom fit class three trailer hitch receiver offering the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, its part number is C13118.Here's what your hitch will look like installed on the truck. As you can see we've got a receiver tube opening here and our cross tube's gonna remain pretty hidden up behind the bumper. You'll see a little bit of it there as it comes across. We've got the flush reinforcement collar here, that's gonna be just inside the outside edge of the bumper so really no worries about running into it or anything like that.Now this is a class three hitch, you're probably, since it's going on a truck, thinking more along the lines of towing and hauling. There's several ball mounts available in the class three variety. You want to choose the right raise or drop just depending on your trailer set up. more

It's part number is 75216.Here's what your hitch is gonna look like installed. As you can see, it sits just inside the edge of the bumper there, gives you a really nice, clean look. Gonna have the rounded cross tube that's gonna come to both side plates that are gonna go up and make connection with our frame. Also, a few connection points in behind the bumper.Now this is a class III hitch, so you can see we've got the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Makes it very, very versatile, especially with the ball mounts and things like that. more

Offering the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, its part number is 75938.Now here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, it's going to be flush or just inside the outer edge of the bumper there, so we're not going to have to worry about running into it or anything. Got our rounded crosstube. Comes over to the sideplates that are going to go up to the bottom of the leaf spring shackle on both sides and behind the bumper, so really quite easy to install. Just a few bolts to take out, a couple to put in, and you should have it locked on there.Now this is a Class 3 hitch, so it has the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. more
