Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Ford F-150

Today on this 2008 Ford F-150 we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87418. This installation will also apply for Draw-Tite hitch part number 75506. We are underneath the vehicle and the first thing I have done is lowered down the spare tire to give us a little bit more working room. Looking underneath the vehicle we are going to point out the attaching points that we are going to be using. Starting at the center of the vehicle at the bottom of the bumper there is two existing tabs and we are going to be using those for the two center most attaching points for our trailer hitch. Then looking over at the driver side of the vehicle the saddle bracket has two holes in it that we are going to be using to attach the hitch. The first one is at the rear most section and then if you move to the inboard side you can see there is a second hole that we will be using there and that is going to be the same on the passenger side of the vehicle as well. 00:44 more
