Installation of a Trailer Hitch - 2003 Ford F-150 - Curt- Video
Today on this 2003 Ford F150, were going to install part number C13038 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on a truck. Next well give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 15 inches and from the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper will be around 3 inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First off, well go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up to the frame. Starting from the end of the bumper going forward youll use the first three holes there at the bottom of the frame. more
