Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, we're going to install part number 87008 from Hidden Hitch. This is what the hitch looks like once it's installed on our Sport Trac. Next we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 17". From the center of a hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper, will be about 3-1/4". Now I'll show you how the hitch is installed. First off, we'll show you where the hitch attaches to the frame of our vehicle. First it will attach here at the bottom of the frame at the end. Also, there's an oval hole here that the hitch will attach to. more
