Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out our best trailer hitch options for your 2016 Ford Edge. So today we have a total of four hitches that we're gonna be looking at. Up here, we have the etrailer.com one, and there's also a CURT one available that's pretty much identical to this, it just has more of a gloss black finish as opposed to the matte black. Below it, we have the Draw-Tite hitch, then we have a CURT hitch and again little bit different style. But there's also gonna be an etrailer one, essentially identical to this, just a different finish. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ford Edge- Video
Ryan: Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Ford Edge, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Class II CURT trailer hitch receiver. Even though the hitch is mostly visible, it is going to blend in nicely. It's going to follow the edges of our back bumper and kind of towards to the shape of it.Now, this is a class II hitch, so it's going to have that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening and a reinforced collar for extra strength. So, this is going to work perfect, especially if you already have those inch and a quarter accessories. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Edge we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the class 3, 2-inch curt trailer hitch receiver.Now this is a class 3 hitch. So it is going to have that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and a reinforced collar for extra strength. So it should work with just about any accessory out there. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ford Edge - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Edge we're going to be taking a look at the and installing the Draw-Tite class three Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 75234. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. One of the really nice features about this hitch is that if you have an Edge that has the feature of being able to wave your foot underneath the rear of the vehicle, it's still going to work with that. This particular one does not have that. This hitch is going to help maintain a nice clean look on the vehicle because all you're really going to see is the receiver tube and the safety chain connection points. Features the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, this nice welded-on reinforcement collar. The safety chain connection points that are underneath it here, they do come down a little bit, but that's also going to make it really easy to make your connections with any safety chains that you may want to hook up there. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Edge we're going to be taking a look at, and then we're going to show you how to install the draw tight custom fit class three trailer hitch receiver. This offers the two inch by two inch opening. It's part number is 75214. Now this is what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. You'll see that rounded cross tube goes all the way across back here at the rear. It's going to give us our two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Now this is a class three rated hitch so you've got a lot of accessories to choose from. more
