Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Dodge Durango - Curt- Video
Today on our 2006 Dodge Durango well be installing the Curt hitch, part number 13072. This is what our hitch will look like once its installed. Next well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. The center of the hitch pin hole is even with the outer most edge of the bumper and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 21 inches. Now lets go ahead with the installation. Note first before we can begin installing the hitch well need to go ahead and lower and remove the spare tire which weve already done. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on an 2006 Dodge Durango we are going to install part number 75162 from Draw-Tite. The hitch mounts actually to the bumper structure underneath the bumper cover so what we are going to to do is loosen up the bumper cover to get access to the bumper structure itself. Now I will take a block of wood and we will just put up it in between the bumper structure and the fascia so we will have a little more working room and then we will start working on cutting out the Styrofoam.
