Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options available for the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Cab and Chassis. We have our Curt part number C15800. In the middle we have our Draw-Tite, part number 41947. At the bottom here we have another Curt, part number C15400. While all of these are class fives, they all have ups and downs to each one of them. Let's go ahead and take a look at some of their differences. Now, one of the main differences between these three hitches starts here with the Draw-Tite. You'll notice that it has four bolts holding the middle section into place on both sides. We have these additional holes on the side plates as well. more

Today on our 2002 Chevy Silverado, well be installing the Curt Custom Fit Class Five 2-1/2 inch Receiver Tube Hitch, part number C15703. This is what are hitch will look like once its installed. Next, well then give you couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 2-3/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 15-1/2 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. more
