Best 2013 Chevrolet Equinox Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, we'll be having a look at our best trailer hitch options. On the top, we have the draw tight class three, in the middle we have our Curt class three, and on the bottom we have our etrailer.com class three. First we'll give you a brief summary. As far as weight capacity goes, we found that the draw tight hitch here was the winner. Because it does have higher weight capacities then the other two hitches. As far as appearance goes, all three of the hitches are gonna look fairly similar, but with a different finish that the etrailer.com hitch has with it being more of a mat carbide finish.It is going to be a little bit more durable and scratch resistant. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox - Curt- Video
Speaker 1: Today on this 2013 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be having a look at and showing how to install the CURT Class 2 trailer hitch receiver, part number C12291.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now what's great about this hitch is that it is tucked up nice and tight against our fascia but still has plenty of room around the receiver, which makes it easy to use your accessories by having this much space around your receiver. Now this is an 1-1/4" receiver, so this is a great hitch for those of you that already have 1-1/4" accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. Now keep in mind if you are using this for a non-trailer application, CURT does recommend the use of a stabilization strap to help support the loaded. We have those available separately on the website.On the side of our receiver here you'll find our industry-standard 1/2" diameter pin hole to secure your accessories. The pin and clip is included with this hitch. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, class three, part number 76028. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. You can see it's going to tuck up nicely behind the fascia, only a little bit is going to protrude past. It's going to fit into this factory spot where a trailer hitch would go. It's got a black powder coated finish that's going to help with keep corrosion and rust off of it. It's got the ring-style safety chain loops that are fairly large, so it'll accommodate most of your safety chain hooks. It's going to have a 5/8" hitch pin hole, as well as this 1/2" hole in front of it. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be installing the Hidden Hitch trailer hitch, part number 90145. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements and helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 4 1/2". From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 14 1/4". Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Let's begin here by pointing out our mounting locations. more
