Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Cadillac SRX - Curt- Video
Today, in this 2004 Cadillac SRX, were going to install part number C13050 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on the vehicle. Now, were getting some measurements to help out in selecting some accessories such as the ball mount, the bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top receiver opening down to the ground will be about 14 inches. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of bumper will be about one inch. To start off our install, were going to go ahead lower the spare tire. Once you have the spare tire out of the way, well go ahead and disconnect the rubber exhaust hangers. Today on this 2004 Cadillac SRX, were going to install part number 75174 from Draw-Tite. Its also applied to part number 87661 from Hidden Hitch. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories. From top to the receiver opening down to the ground on this particular vehicle is going to be 14 3/8 inches. From the center of the hitch pinhole to outside edge of the bumper is going to be 1 inch. more
